EMMA
I lay in the bathtub, my body numb and my mind reeling. Ian had marked me without my consent, and I couldn't shake off the feeling of violation. I could only lay inside the water-filled bathtub.
"Emma!" I heard him call my name in a hurry but I still didn't budge until he was closer.
As Ian carefully lifted me out of the bathtub, I got irked by his behavior. How could he be so gentle now, after what he had done?
"I am sorry, please never make me that scared again." he let out as he embraced me tightly but I still didn't bulge.
He carried me to the bedroom, his arms cradling me like a child. I felt a lump form in my throat as he laid me down on the bed, his eyes filled with concern.
"Emma, please talk to me," he whispered, his voice soft and gentle. "I need to know you are okay."
But I refused to talk, there was no use talking to him, my decision meant nothing to him, marking me without my consent claiming me as his when he didn't even care about me.
