I walked into the office, still thinking about the events that had transpired earlier. Theo followed closely behind me, I could feel his eyes fixed on me
"It's rare to see the alpha defend someone," Theo finally pointed out his thought, I expected it the moment he didn't disappear and decided to follow me.
I turned to him, giving him a look that clearly said I didn't want to be disturbed. But Theo just smirked, it's amazing how he had no single fear for me but respect.
"You also stepped up to defend Emma, without me asking you too. And to top that, attacking Nyx."
It was clear that he cared deeply for her, and I couldn't blame him. There was something about Emma that drew people in, something that made them want to protect her.
"What?"
" I noticed how much respect you show to her after that night."
"She is your mate, the right one to be the Luma, why shouldn't I defend her against the fake you are about to choose." the room fell silent at this.
