Even though I was yet still crying, I couldn't help the shock that grazed my face as I turned my gaze on her.
Obviously, I was taken aback.
All the while since yesterday, I had thought she wasn't aware of who I was, guess I was all wrong.
"What?" I lowly exclaimed.
I felt deceived. I had been intentionally conscious of her because I felt she might turn out vile if she gets to know my true identity.
But surprisingly, she had indeed knew of it which I was so ignorant of.
Why was she hiding it earlier? What was her motive and how did she know?
Knowing it, why then wasn't she treating me badly like I speculated? What was going on?
I kept glooming at her speechlessly, waiting for her to speak and say something but she instead chuckled, flashing me a grin.
"C'mon, you must have taken a guess by now. Your portraits full of red markers and filth are numerous outside the palace walls and beyond, there was no way I couldn't have seen them and not recognize them to be you."
