Oliver's words sweep my mind blank——I remember greeting him goodnight after he put me in bed, and I also remember the way he gave me that kiss on my forehead and wished me sweet dreams. He should have left after he turned the table lamp off and locked my chamber door.
Even if he did return, Oliver does not have the keys to my chamber… How did he reenter under that condition? How did he hear me asking him to stay across that door? How loudly did I speak? I don't remember, did I even say it?
"Yes, you did." yet surprisingly, it seems like Oliver is possessed with memories distinctive with mine. In a soft voice he mimics, "'Stay… Please stay…'" he claims, "You said it in your dream."
'In my dream'? Unfortunately, even though it was a dream I woke up from just a few minutes ago, I am possessed with no memories about it at all… But if Oliver said so, then I must have been seeing him in my dream.
