"I'll be returning late at night," Komachi stated in a low deep voice while sliding the door open to Mona's bedroom. Earlier, he had finished her training session, and even though he hadn't voiced it out, he could see improvements in her movements in just a week's time.
"Riaz will be staying back along with my best-trained men. If you need anything, you know my number," Komachi stated in an aloof tone and closed the door.
"Lilliana." Komachi paused in his steps as he turned back to notice her standing by the door. Earlier, she had shed her life, her everything but she didn't share her real name just because she was afraid he would become more fond of her.
"Lilliana," Komachi uttered back her name, and it sounded so beautiful rolling off his tongue. For the first time, he caught her chuckle, and even that slightest of her expression was enough to pace his heart.
