Early the next morning, Anna was woken up by the alarm from her phone. A reminder that she is supposed to go collect a new set of drugs from the doctor for her health care.
With dark circles under her eyes, she stared into her phone and after a moment, she stretched her petite body, yawning beautifully before climbing down from bed.
However, someone's voice halted her in her tracks.
"Where are you going?"
Anna turned swiftly and blinked.
"Carlos?"
Carlos lay down on the bed, his eyes wide open almost as if he had been awake all through the night. He stared at Anna with curiosity.
"I have work at the hospital today. I need to be there on time."
Carlos shook his head. "You seem to have forgotten something."
Anna froze, but then her expression turned into confusion. She dug her brains, but could not remember.
"Er… what did I forget?"
