"Carlos, you won't believe what happened." She drew closer to the man, who's body glistened with the flames of the fireplace.
Carlos did not try to stop her from explaining.
"Go on, what happened?"
In fact, he was eerily calm that it sent icy-cold shivers down her spine.
"Trisha had an accident. Whether it had been an accident, I do not know. However I know that she was stabbed. I saw the stab marks myself."
Carlos' expression did not shift, but his aura did change swiftly.
But still he remained so cold, so Icy that it was simply unnerving.
"But you were late."
Anna could believe it. "But I lost track of time."
Carlos chuckled. "If you were married to me, would you blatantly lose track of time? Of course not. At least, you'll inform me through a call or simply leave a message."
Anna sighed. "Ok, I made a mistake."
However, Carlos jumped in.
"But that doesn't change the mistake that you've made and you must be punished severely for it."
