Three days had passed since the letter from Raynald had arrived. During that time, Lucian's life hadn't changed much, except for something that had bothered him quite a bit lately.
June.
The white-haired fenrir wolf really kept his word. From that day on, he continued to follow Lucian wherever he went, like a shadow that could not escape him. At first Lucian felt that he just needed to assume the beast didn't exist, but doing so turned out to be more difficult than he had imagined.
When he woke up in the morning, the wolf was already in sight of him, while lying lazily near the door with his eyes half open, he looked like he hadn't slept at all at that time. As Lucian walked down the corridor of the mansion, he would follow her from behind. Even when going to the library or even to the back garden, the fenrir wolf remained in plain sight, sitting quietly and of course his eyes never took his eyes off Lucian's sight.
