Lucian climbed the stairs step by step calmly. He let his mind digest the information he had just received. His fingers reflexively fingered the letter in his pocket, but he refrained from opening it immediately
Once on the second floor, Lucian stepped towards his room, with a slightly slower rhythm than usual. Along the way, his mind was still filled with various things.
Once he reached his room, he opened the door without hesitation, then closed it again with one light nudge. The room was silent, illuminated only by the faint light from the dusk sun that pierced through the large window on the side of the room.
With a calm step, Lucian walked to his chair and plopped down. His back leaned against the chair's backrest while his head tilted up toward the ceiling. He raised one hand, covering part of his face, while strands of hair fell messily, some covering his eyes.
In the midst of silence, he let out a long breath. "Huh..."
