Lucian stepped out of his room, passing through the large hallways of the Hale mansion that still felt quiet in the morning. Sunlight penetrates through the tall window glass, reflecting long shadows on the marble floor. The servants who saw him immediately bowed their heads nervously or rushed away, as usual.
He doesn't really care about their reactions. After all this time, Lucian had gotten used to his bad reputation in this house. What is more important now is the plan he has put together.
