Chapter 1 - When the World Lost Light

Long ago, the world belonged to humans.

They built huge cities filled with lights, machines, and technology that could fly through the skies and explore the deepest oceans. People believed they had reached the peak of progress. They called it The Age of Prosperity.

But they forgot one thing…

They were not alone.

For centuries, monsters and wild creatures lived in the hidden parts of the world—inside mountains, under the oceans, deep in the forests. Some were small and animal-like, but others were enormous, ancient, and powerful. Humans never paid attention to them.

Until it was too late.

One day, without warning, the sky split open above a peaceful region called Northern Union City. From that tear in the sky came monsters the world had never seen—twisted, powerful beasts from another dimension. This event was later named The First Breach.

The monsters rampaged through the city.

People screamed, buildings collapsed, and fire filled the streets. The strongest human weapons couldn't even scratch their skin. Thousands died in a single night.

And that was only the beginning.

---

The War Between Humans and Monsters

After the First Breach, more rifts began opening across the planet. From these cracks, endless waves of monsters poured out. Cities fell one by one. Humanity was on the edge of extinction.

But humans are survivors.

In desperation, they awakened ancient abilities that had been sleeping within their bloodlines. Some people discovered they could control elements like fire, wind, or lightning. Others learned secret martial techniques that gave them incredible speed, strength, or the power to break mountains with their fists.

These gifted warriors became known as:

Hunters – Fighters who awaken powers and battle monsters.

Tamers – Rare humans who form bonds with monsters and use them in combat.

Mystics – Users of spiritual and mental abilities that allow control over space, mind, or nature.

Guardians – Protectors who use defensive techniques to shield cities and civilians.

For a short time, humanity fought back.

They even pushed monsters out of some regions.

But the monsters… changed.

They started evolving.

Some became intelligent. Some learned human language. Some began using powers that no human had ever seen before. These advanced beasts called themselves Trueborn—the pure descendants of a world before humans existed.

They didn't just want land.

They wanted humans gone forever.

And so, the war continued for thousands of years.

The State of the World Now

Today, monsters rule 70% of the world.

Forests have swallowed cities. Oceans are ruled by sea kings. The sky is home to flying beasts with wings that block the sun.

Only a few human cities remain, protected by high walls and old technology. These places are called Sectors, and they're the last safe zones for people. Each sector is controlled by powerful families, guilds, or government forces.

But even inside the walls, life isn't easy.

The poor live in dirty, broken neighborhoods. Food is rationed. Medicine is rare. Only the rich and powerful get to live comfortably. People without powers are treated like they don't matter.

And every day, monsters grow stronger.

Human powers are fading.

Old bloodlines are dying.

Techniques once passed from master to student are now forgotten or lost.

Humanity is slowly being erased.

The Story of Yor Satoshi

In a small, dusty part of Sector 13, there lives a boy named Yor Satoshi.

He is twelve years old.

His family is poor but close.

His father, Hiro Satoshi, once dreamed of being a Hunter. But he never awakened a power, so he works at a scrapyard, fixing broken machines.

His mother, Akari, is gentle and wise. She believes in the old ways and keeps their small home warm with her love.

And then there's Yuna, Yor's older sister. She's strong, kind, and always smiles—even when things are hard. She's the light in Yor's life, his hero.

They live in a broken world, but together, they were happy.

---

Until two weeks ago.

That's when everything changed.

Yor and Yuna were walking home from the market. It was late afternoon. The sky was gray. The air felt strange—heavy, like before a storm.

Suddenly, the ground shook.

A terrible cry echoed from the edge of the Sector.

Something had broken through the wall.

A monster.

A Spine Crawler—a snake-like beast with iron-like skin, six legs, and a venomous tail that dripped with glowing green liquid.

The guards panicked.

Screams filled the air.

Yuna didn't hesitate.

She grabbed Yor and pushed him behind a wall.

He wanted to run. But his feet wouldn't move.

Yuna stood to face the beast.

She had no powers. No weapons.

But she had courage.

The Spine Crawler struck.

Its tail lashed out and hit Yuna across the back. She flew through the air and landed hard on the ground.

She didn't get up.

Yor ran to her, crying and screaming.

Her blood stained the street.

---

Now, Yuna lies in bed, barely alive.

Her body is paralyzed.

The only medicine that can save her is stored in the Upper Sector, and it costs more than his family will ever have.

No one will help.

Not the guards.

Not the city.

Not the so-called heroes.

Yor feels helpless.

He sits by her side every day.

Watching her breathing grow weaker.

Feeling anger burn inside him like never before.

---

But Yor is not ordinary.

He is a descendant of a forgotten bloodline—a legacy of warriors so powerful that even monsters feared their name. But that power has been sealed for generations. Faded. Lost.

Until now.

Something is stirring inside him.

A strange energy.

A voice in his dreams.

Memories that aren't his.

A promise buried deep in his soul.

He doesn't understand it yet.

But the world will soon remember the name Satoshi.

Because Yor is done waiting.

He will save his sister.

He will rise.

And the monsters that took everything from him…

Will wish they never had.
