Olphi informed me that Arata's car was parked in a blind spot so they didn't get an angle to see who placed the note. Besides, we had many people visiting us for job interviews, and it could have been any of them.
I informed her of the findings and she took the news calmly.
"It's fine."
I needed to have a word with my security and have more cameras installed. There shouldn't be any blind spots especially where her car would be parked from now on.
"We will catch him," I tried to reassure her once again and she straightened her legs and got up from the sofa with a tiny nod.
"Would you like to eat something? I only have a takeaway from yesterday's dinner and sweets my parents brought. And I am not high on cooking, I suck at cooking," she told me innocently.
I could imagine her having a chef growing up. No wonder she couldn't cook. Ma will certainly have a heart attack knowing this tiny detail if she already didn't know.
