Adam rubbed his forehead, looking exhausted.
"You kids heard everything, huh?"
Lucas stepped forward.
"Yeah, and we can't just sit back and do nothing."
Aurora clenched her fists.
"Dad, this isn't fair! They're trying to scam you!"
Adriana nodded.
"We should fight back."
Adam sighed.
"I know it's unfair, but what can we do? I don't have proof. Without evidence, it's just my word against his."
Theodore, the quietest of the siblings, suddenly spoke up. "What if we find proof?"
Adam looked at him, surprised. "How?"
Theodore adjusted his glasses.
"The guy brought in a different car every time, right? That means he goes to other shops too. Maybe one of them has security footage. Or maybe someone else has noticed something suspicious."
Olivia's eyes lit up. "That's a good idea! If we can prove he's done this before, maybe we can prove he's lying."
Mary nodded. "That's worth a try."
