Arriving back at his house Atlas walks up to the door and takes off his backpack to get the key that he always leaves in there to open the door. He didn't bother greeting when he walked through the door since he didn't see Amber's car parked in the driveway.
'She must have left to go buy groceries to prepare dinner later.' Atlas thinks, taking his shoes off and running up to his room. He takes his backpack off when he gets to his room before jumping on his bed laying on his side and letting out a breath. His body was still sore and he already felt tired despite only a third of the day having gone.
Pulling out his phone and checking the time, Atlas saw that it read 4:21 pm. Releasing a tired sigh he turns over on his back to look at the ceiling.
'Cel, how do I access the black and white screen that I saw before.' Atlas asked Celeste. He was curious about that screen ever since he saw it in Blake's room.

'Yes.' Atlas responds, looking unphased by the voice in his head now
[Please provide command]
Atlas thought about it for a minute. He remembered that there were some books that allowed some characters to play realistic virtual reality games that get them transported to another world. He liked how they called on the interface inside the games, and got inspired to use that same command.
'Show Status,' Atlas says
[Command registered] Celeste says and has the transparent black and white screen appear back in his view. This one, however, looked slightly different from the one he saw prior. He saw that it was on a different tab called 'Info.' It showed an image of himself standing in a 'A' pose with his current outfit. On the left side of the screen with the image had the following information.

As Atlas tries to touch the screen with his hand it phased right through once again frustrating Atlas. How the hell was he supposed to navigate the interface if he couldn't even touch it?
Despite not being able to touch the screen, there was something that stuck out as he looked through the interface. The question marks by 'race.'
Having a knowledge of games already, Atlas knew that meant that his race was unknown. This confirmed to him that he really wasn't of this world?
The parts labeled 'stage', 'realm name', and 'realm rank.' where the parts that interested him also and he already had a guess that the transformation had a key factor on it.
After going through it, he felt a connection with a foreign energy that he could feel was almost nonexistent, similar to a phantom limb.
'Cel, how can I navigate the system if I can't touch the screen?' Atlas asked Celeste with his focus still on the holographic screen.
[The interface can be navigated in two ways. Firstly, by equipping my physical form, making the screen tangible. Alternatively, the most common method is through thought or verbal command .]
"Through thought or verbal command, huh." Atlas said out loud to himself before he thought to himself 'Attributes,' with the intention of wanting the screen to change to the other tab, and it did.

Looking at the 'Attributes' tab, Atlas was able to see that the area labeled 'Mana' was regenerating slowly back up as his headache started to go away. Taking a look below 'Stamina', he saw plus signs next to mental attributes and physical attributes.
To test out the other method to navigate the interface, Atlas imagined the gloves appearing on his right hand and it appeared. He clicked on the plus signs next to mental and physical attributes causing it to expand more.

'Yes! It worked!' Atlas thinks to himself when he is finally able to touch the screen. As he skimmed through the stats Atlas saw he had a 40 in the vitality stat.
'Dang, why is Vitality so high?'

'Well that explains why I never got sick.' Atlas thought before asking Celeste another question.
'How do I increase my stats?'
[Boosting stats has various methods, yet completing quests and objectives found in the interface is the simplest way]
'What are MA and PA points?'
[Points of this nature are obtained when an objective or quest fails to directly raise a stat. They're stored for later or immediate use, allowing augmentation of any stat within the corresponding attribute category. MA standing for Mental Attributes and PA for Physical Attributes.]

Atlas clicked the plus signs on all of them and saw how long it got with just these three skills so he decided to go with the one that was level 2 already, 'Void Vision' and also 'Mind Compulsion'. He clicked the minus sign on Regeneration leaving Void Vision and Mind Compulsion untouched.

'So it's called Void Vision. Not bad.' Atlas thought after reading over the expanded version of his current skills except for regeneration since it seemed self-explanatory by the name.
Once it seemed like currency was the last tab he saw that there was a couple more once he scrolled through. One of the tabs' names intrigued him that he had to see what it was.
