Its mana levels were in the red and its stamina decreased due to it chasing Atlas prior.
'That earlier ability used up most of its mana reserves. I doubt it'll be able to use any more elemental skills.' Atlas analyzed while turning his full attention back to the boar in front of him, making sure not to lock eyes with it. Atlas was able to see that its flames have dimmed down to small flickers here and there.
'Plus I can't underestimate its strength.'
Atlas glanced at the timer on his panel screen with his stats and saw that he had less than 12 minutes left with the boost that Cel provided him.
'I better hurry.' Atlas thinks waiting for the perfect opportunity to attack. Soon that moment came when the exhausted boar's front legs buckled and its "elbows" touched the ground.
'Now!' Atlas dashed towards the boar with speed he didn't know he had, and before he knew it he was almost in front of it. Yet, despite the shock of his current speed he was surprisingly calm.
Atlas's eyes widened when the beast growled and quickly got back on its hooves as if it wasn't even tired and even dashed towards Atlas to meet him halfway.
'A bluff?' Atlas sucked his teeth and threw the dirt that was in his right hand towards the boar's eyes when it got close causing the beast to roar.

Atlas dodged to the right by rolling on the ground to avoid colliding with it. As he got up he prepared a punch with his right fist to the back of the boar's left foreleg joint as hard as he could.

He felt the bone crack a bit in the boar's front left leg causing the boar to roar louder and its leg to buckle to the pain. Atlas jumped back slightly, moved towards the boar's neck, and sent a clawed uppercut to the neck of the beast aiming to get a vein but the boar's skin was hard and rough that he only left 5 shallow gashes.

"What?! Only 15 points of damage!" Atlas yelled to himself as he glanced at the holographic panel.
The boar cleared its sight from the dirt and looked at Atlas with angry red pupils and swung its head at the distracted Atlas with full force.
'Crap!'
Atlas put his arms up in a crossed 'X' shaped guard to try and block any damage he could.
"Gargh!" He yelled out when the boar's head made contact and he was thrown back into some trees with such force that they broke on impact. His body hit the ground and rolled a couple times before being stopped by a tree bark when his momentum slowed.

Atlas coughed a couple times before getting up as fast as he could on his feet. His arms were shaking and sore from the hit he received. He looked at his shaking hands in shock.
'Heh...ha...haha...'
'It hurts...so it's not a dream...haha. This is real!' An excitement was over taking Atlas that he never felt before. As if something that he has been holding back for a long time wanted to be released.
*ba-dum* His heart thumped in his chest, but it wasn't fast nor slow.
*ba-dum* He released a breathe of air as he looked at the boar in front of him framed by trees of a forest on fire.
Everything seemed to slow down in his vision as the boar turned in his direction once more. A trance similar to when he was unlocking the cube enveloped him.
A whispered voice appeared in his head and it wasn't coming from Cel. Almost as if his subconscious was talking to him in the back of his mind.
'Fight...kill...devour. Fight...kill...devour.'
His pupils turned into slits like that of a dragon and his body felt like it was getting hotter.
He didn't know why, but he wanted to beat this boar, and come out on top between this battle. This sensation never developed in him at all. Earlier he wanted to run away in fear, but now he wanted no more than to fight and win. It was a whole new thrill.
Atlas's body started to sway left and right in this trance like state without removing his eyes from the boar in front of him. He clicked on the button on the headband that was still on his head to cause the shades to come out so his mana wouldn't decrease if he locked eyes with it.
"Kill...haha...I'm going to kill you." Atlas says with determination and excitement as a devilish smile appeared on his face that even he would be creeped out from if he saw it.
He took a couple steps toward the boar, then entered a light jog before achieving his top speed in a matter of seconds. It wasn't inhumanly fast but it was as fast as a professional track runner at top speed.
As he got a few feet in front of the boar Atlas jumped up getting his body sideways and twisting his body in the air to build up momentum.
But the boar wasn't dumb enough to just sit still and allow this human to hurt it. It opened its mouth planning to take a massive bite out of Atlas.
Yet Atlas didn't stop as he saw the approaching mouth of the boar that was opening wider and wider and still released a kick that managed to connect on top of the boar's nose.
This caused the boars mouth to slam shut and its head to lower to the ground.

Getting hit in the nose can cause just about any animals eyes to close on reflex.
When it opened its eyes, the boar was met with Atlas pointing all his fingers on his right hand at the boar's left eye. It tried to hurry and close its eyes again but was slightly too slow as Atlas's white clawed gloves jabbed its eye causing blood to gush out and cover his arm and areas of his body and face.
The boar roared out in pain as the attack made contact on the weak point.

"AHHHHH!!!" Atlas yelled as he removed his hand from the Boar's eye and jumped off of the boars nose to create some distance, shaking his hand to remove the blood. A sizzling sound could be heard on Atlas's body and face where the blood landed.
The wildfire boar's blood must have been made up of magma or something of the like. Atlas hadn't realize due to the previous attacks not drawing much 'blood', and if it did Cel's physical weapon form took most of the heat.
'Crap, that burns.' Atlas thinks gritting his teeth in pain.
Atlas felt an energy being drawn from him from within his body once again. Just like the time when Cel created the symbiotic connection.

He turned to look at his attributes and realized that his health didn't go up but his burns started to heal. Even the damage done to Cel's physical form on Atlas's right hand started to get patched up.

'Must be due to the surplus of health being above 50.' Atlas assumed, 'No matter. I managed to blind the boar's left eye, so I'll focus on attacking from its literal blind spot now.'
Atlas dashed towards the boar going on the rampage from the pain in its left eye.
Hearing the sound of footsteps running toward it, the boar, turned towards Atlas with its good eye and growled at Atlas. It inhaled deeply through its mouth and exhaled steam through it's nose. Doing this two to three times caused the boar's flame like fur to slowly come back on its body.
'Wait...is it?' Atlas glanced at the panel with the wildfire boar's info and he saw something that made his eyes widen.
'it's regenerating its mana?!' Atlas ran faster to the left side of the boar until he got to it's injured foreleg to issue another punch. He planted his left foot close to the boar's foreleg, twisted his waist, tightened his right fist, and made contact.
BAM!

The foreleg bone broke and went limp causing the boar to drop to the forest floor, but it didn't stop regenerating it's mana as if it's broken limb didn't hurt. It just laid on the forest floor inhaling and exhaling.
Atlas jumps up from the forest floor and lands on top of the boars head and delivered blow after blow on its skull trying to lower it's health as much as possible but the damage wasn't as high as he wanted.

Atlas could feel that what ever the boar was planning to use must be it's third and strongest skill, and it must be a powerful one with how much mana it was planning to use. He could feel the boar's temperature rising the more mana it gathered. It was like standing on a pile of rocks that just kept getting hotter and hotter. The flames that made up it's fur was practically cooking Atlas but he didn't stop. He couldn't.
Atlas looked at the Boar's screen panel with wide eyes once he saw the boar stop inhaling and started to glow red, signifying the start of a skill.

That's when the loudest, ground vibrating roar escaped the wildfires boar's mouth and it's whole body was engulfed in flames which enveloped Atlas. The ground beneath it turned molten with the amount of heat it was producing before a shockwave spread out from the ground causing a widespread fire explosion in a 50 meter radius.
"AHHHHHHH!" Atlas screamed out from the pain he was feeling as he prepared one more punch out of desperation. He created a fist with his left hand and sent his entire arm through the beast skull. A bit of resistance was felt but he continued to push his arm deeper into the beast's brain.
"DIIIEEEE!!!" Atlas yelled out as the beast continued to engulf Atlas in flames from his body. Once his shoulder touched the beast's skull was when the flames were finally snuffed out. However, all that remained was a charred Atlas on top of the beast.

An eerie silence followed besides the cracking of flames of trees and the sizzling of flesh on top of a now dead boar; Atlas laid on top of it not moving with his eyes half closed. Slowly falling into the cold embrace of eternal slumber.
