The demon howled in annoyance, dodging some attacks but getting grazed by others. Its unnatural speed made it difficult to land a direct hit.
Shelly clicked her tongue in irritation.

Bianca nodded, calculating their next move.
"Then we slow it down."
She channeled more energy into her hands and slammed them against the ground. Immediately, a binding spell activated, glowing chains of light shooting up from the pavement and wrapping around the demon's legs.
The creature screeched as it struggled, but Shelly took the opportunity.
She raised her hands, gathering magic into a swirling sphere of freezing energy. Then, with a fierce expression, she hurled it straight at the demon's chest.
The ice magic struck true.
