"What are you doing!" I yelped, jerking up immediately to grab a towel from the wardrobe, but no, the universe was also against me so of course it wasn't there, and now I'm remembering I kind of spread it on the bathroom hanger to dry.
Kael's eyes dragged over me, slow and deliberate, and a smirk curled at the corner of his lips.
"Well, this is a nice surprise," he drawled, locking his eyes on me, "Didn't think I'd be getting such a good view this early in the morning. What should I say… I wasn't expecting something like this sincerely." He kicked the door shut behind him with the back of his leg.
"Didn't you know how to knock!" I snapped, trying to angle my body away while reaching for the bedsheet. "Get out!"
However, Kael didn't move. If anything, his smirk deepened as he looked down, his gaze fixated on my lower body, "Now, why would I do that? You're the one who left the door unlocked, sweetheart."
