Inside the principal's office, a woman in her mid-thirties continued to glare at Seren, her anger intensifying with each passing second before she shifted her gaze back to the man in front of her.
"How can you allow a bully like her to be enrolled in this school, Principal Kane?" Violet Thames, wife of well-known businessman Felix Thames, demanded.
A woman who had always looked down on those beneath her, she now expected an explanation from the principal—whose school was funded by her husband.
Principal Kane fumbled, his eyes meeting Teacher Brooke's in worry.
"This is not what you think, Mrs. Thames. I believe we should let the girl speak. She, too, deserves the chance to tell her side of the story," he said.
He knew the girl Violet had taken offense to wasn't just any student. However, his duty to keep her identity confidential prevented him from revealing anything.
