Chapter 4 - Chapter 4: Stark Tower

Some time later.

"Loki is secured.", Captain America's voice came through Black Widow's responder.

"Understood. Keep those other guys busy, alright? You know who I'm talking about. Other agents of Shield should be in the process of cleaning up Tony's place. I plan to head through his back door.", Black Widow said.

"The back door? What do you mean--?", Captain America paused. "Oh, right. You must be talking about our new friends. They show any signs of waking up yet?", Captain America asked.

"As of now, no. I gave Fury a report already, but he's too busy trying to clean up our mess and keeping the Council in check. He has no room to spare for these four aliens. He might have given me a new...payload to work with.", Black Widow responded.

"Isn't that Shield's job!?", Captain America retorted.

"That's what I'M saying. But Fury still pinned this on me. I am part of Shield, so this is just another responsibility. He just had to do this...", Black Widow sighed. "Anyways, keep those guys busy. I'm sure Tony can enjoy some company~", Black Widow teased.

"You know he's not going to like that.", Captain America responded.

"And that is exactly why I'm doing it.", Black Widow answered. She then cut off her responder.

Black Widow now found herself alone on the destroyed streets of Midtown, Manhattan. Several sirens could be heard in the far distance near all directions, likely under the orders of the military. The streets were empty right now, all the people nearby had fled in terror or were presently in hiding, or were rescued. That meant it was just her and Baki's group.

"They seriously don't pay me enough for this shit.", Black Widow cursed, realizing what she now had in store. Thankfully as if destiny willed it, there was another unturned car nearby. After hot wiring it, she turned it on. Her gaze then laid on the muscular man, whose muscle far outclassed her own. He still appeared unconscious.

But knowing she was now responsible for these four, Black Widow sighed, and started her work. Approaching them, she started with Baki, and tried lifting him over her shoulder.

"Holy, just what is this guy made of?", Black Widow retorted, feeling how heavy Baki's body was.

Unlike a normal human's body, Baki's body was entirely carved out of muscle. It was packed several fold. That was one of the surprising things from people that came from Baki's world. Each one goes through intensive training to become like this. Their body appearances weren't exaggerated just for its looks. Black Widow's surprise was genuine here. She had a hard time carrying Baki over to the car.

But she exerted her own strength, and managed to place Baki inside the front passenger seat. He showed no signs of waking up. But that was all a farce, my mind was wide awake. I could tell the fighting had ceased already. Knowing that we were taken to the Chitauri Invasion for our starting point, it was likely the Avengers were already starting to clean up the mess they caused. It left large parts of New York City destroyed. It didn't happen magically overnight.

And this was the first time the humans of the MCU will come to learn that aliens exist. I don't know if they're seeing me as one, but they likely are, considering they saw the girls.

As Black Widow placed me inside the car, she took a good look at me. To my surprise, she started speaking, acting as if I could hear it.

"I may know whether or not you can understand me. But I am not as oblivious as the others may appear to be. Given a bit of training, it's easy to tell when someone is unconscious. Then again, I may be spitting air for all I know. If you can understand me, you'll be in for a world of questions. After all, you are on Shield's radar now.", Black Widow said to me.

But I didn't say anything. I did nothing. I made no movement once so ever. All she heard was my steady breathing. Man, Black Widow's senses really are sharp, aren't they? She was trained as an assassin by the Red Room, and then became a Shield operative. The Black Widow could detect even the minute changes in a person's behavior or expressions. That's how well trained an assassin she was.

"And just so you know, you're only alive because Bruce didn't immediately kill you on the spot. He could have easily taken you in as enemies, but you went as far as securing Tony's safety. Cap made a decision on the spot, so don't let that go to waste.", Black Widow continued.

'And I'm grateful for that.', I inwardly concluded. Remaining still, I just steadily breathed in and out, acting as if I really was unconscious. I didn't have any need to think on this matter any longer for now, so I just let my mind stop there.

Seeing me unresponsive, Black Widow sighed.

"I might just be overthinking it. Aliens can't understand us, right?", Black Widow said to herself. She then regained her focus on the task at hand. She needed Captain America to distract Shield with their clean-up. It wouldn't go as far as what happened in Endgame where Iron Man would suffer a cardiac arrest, but Captain America had his wits about him. Black Widow knew he could get the job done.

And that, the Avengers did. pulling around one of the back entrances to Stark Tower, Black Widow got to work.

Realizing she had many, many stairs ahead of her, she groaned.

"I SERIOUSLY don't get paid enough for this shit.", Black Widow cursed, realizing she had to carry her four new friends one by one up the stairs. Taking elevators was too risky.

Along the way as she decided to carry her heaviest payload up the stairs first, she unexpectedly caught an interesting person trying to clean up the top three floors. Aka, Tony's Home.

Pepper Potts.

Tony's latest and private secretary, managing every single bit Tony does in his day to day life. She took over after Black Widow here revealed herself as a member of Shield. Before that, Black Widow was actually Tony's secretary. Pepper just raised her eyes seeing Black Widow arrive on the 91st floor, where she was currently sweeping.

Enough time had passed to where she no longer had a reason to stay on the private airplane that ensured her safety during the invasion. Like many others who were trying to reclaim their lives, Pepper also returned to her daily life. She was presently sweeping the 91st floor, among other tasks.

"Now here's a face I didn't expect to see so soon again. Then again, is Natalie even your real name?", Pepper said to the red-haired woman, releasing a lot of sweat after carrying Baki up a flight of ninety stairs. It was as if she had just finished a weightlifting competition. Her muscles were screaming.

"Hah...Hah...", Black Widow responded, taking a moment to let out a hot sigh of relief. "Just help me, will you? To wherever the nearest guest room is. I am so not doing this again.", Black Widow continued, feeling more sweat drip down the sides of her cheeks. This appearance just made her even more alluring. Her curves were even more tight to her black suit now.

"And who is this, exactly? Tony wasn't expecting any guests. He's busy cleaning the mess he made.", Pepper questioned, taking a moment to observe the muscular boy slung over Natasha's shoulder. Pepper knew this woman as Natalie Rushman, but that was just an alias. One of many she worked in as a covert operative of Shield.

Her real name was Natasha Romanoff. Code name, Black Widow. A trained assassin. A very deadly one at that. Few dared to interrogate her and when she did partake in interrogations, she was typically on the winning end, even if it looked like she was losing. In simpler terms, Natasha loved playing with her food.

But her current appearance was a far cry from her typical demeanor. Imagine carrying a bunch of bricks up a one-hundred story building. That was what she was feeling right now. Tired beyond belief, but she still felt her body kicking it into high gear. She didn't know whether this or the Chitauri Invasion was worse.

After catching her breath while the two made it to a nearby bedroom, Natasha placed Baki down in the nearest bed, who showed no signs of waking up.

"I am not at liberty to say much, I'm afraid. Classified info, you know how it goes down. But if it eases your suspicions, this guy saved Tony. That's all I can really say on the matter.", Natasha responded.

Pepper only raised her eyebrows hearing that, taking another moment to look at Baki.

"This guy saved Tony? I'll admit, he is quite muscular, even for a boy his age. He shouldn't be older than eighteen years old. Has he woken up yet?", Pepper questioned.

"Not yet. He isn't...quite alone either. If you're free, can you help carry up the three others? I'll carry up the two younger ones. And before you say anything, this is completely off the record.", Natasha said to Pepper.

"He isn't alone? You...seriously didn't climb all ninety floors, did you?", Pepper asked with a doubtful look.

"Unfortunately. We don't have all day. So let's hop to it.", Natasha responded, sighing. She figured Momo and Nana weren't as heavy as Baki was. Surely, right?

"I really don't have a choice in the matter, do I? I expect you'll offer me a good drink in return?", Pepper responded.

"If time allows.", Natasha answered.

Seeing Baki now in a bed resting, Pepper joined Natasha down the massive flight of stairs. It took several moments just to descend the whole set.

"Couldn't we have taken the elevators?", Pepper asked.

"Can't. Less eyes, the better. I'm already parked away from their radar, so we shouldn't have any prying eyes. And you being here helps save a trip. Just don't act too surprised.", Natasha responded.

"If you say so. You know Tony won't like this. But considering that guy saved him, I'm really curious to see his reaction.", Pepper mused.

"Here we are.", Natasha said, arriving at a black convertible. Pepper could immediately see three pink-haired girls nesting their heads against each other. One was taller than the other two.

"What the hell is this supposed to be?", Pepper retorted, seeing these three girls. Even her eyes were attracted to the spade-shaped tails. "Is this cosplay or something? That hair can't be natural.", Pepper continued, showing eyes full of doubt.
