Emily suspected something had happened outside because Amber looked so pissed off. She blamed herself for putting Amber in this position. If only she knew that Nicholas was going to be Xavier's friend, she wouldn't have told Amber to come. Amber looked so lost and eager to leave that when Emily saw that, she told her man it was time to leave. Xavier nodded at her and ended the whole meeting.
"Thanks, all, for honoring this visit. It means so much to us. When the time of our marriage comes, I'll love for us to have something like this again and again," he said.
Emily rolled her eyes at him, and he noticed she wasn't too pleased with his long speech.
"It's fine, honestly. I'll take my leave now. I need to be with my son," she said as she got up. She gave Emily a quick kiss on the cheeks and made her way out of the place.
