"Now, in order for me not to kill you in anger, tell me—who the hell snitched on us and informed you we were coming?!" he asked, one of his hands erupting in flames.
"I…" Bale stuttered, glancing at Grey's furious glare. He opened his mouth to speak but shut it again immediately.
"You think I'm joking, right?" Grey growled. Without hesitation, he grabbed Bale's face with his flaming hand, causing him to scream in agony as the searing heat scorched his skin. "How does it feel to get burned by a power similar to yours?"
"Arghhhhhh! Pl… please stop! Arghhhhhh!" Bale shrieked, but Grey showed no mercy.
"I… I'll tell you! Please, just let me go!" he cried.
"Now that's a good boy." Grey smirked, releasing Bale's blistered face.
Tears streamed down Bale's cheeks as he clutched his charred, peeling skin. The pain was unbearable, but the fear in his eyes ran deeper.
