I woke up to the warmth of Father's wings enveloping me. I stretched my slender body and smiled, feeling the softness of his feathers. Today was a special day - it was my birthday, and also the birthday of my siblings Lyriath, Vyraxys, Nyxoria, Lyrixa, and Kaidorix! We had all hatched on the same day, four years ago.
As I slid out from under Father's wings, I saw Mother busy in the kitchen, preparing a grand feast for our special day. The aroma of delicious food wafted through the air, making my stomach growl with anticipation.
I looked around and saw my siblings bustling about, each one excitedly preparing for the celebration. Even little Kieraxys, who was still under a year old, was chirping and flapping his tiny wings.
Father smiled at me, his eyes shining with warmth. "Good morning, Tharros. Are you excited for your special day?"
I nodded enthusiastically, my silver scales glinting in the light. "Yes, Father! I've got a special gift for Kaidorix... and I think Lyriath, Vyraxys, Nyxoria, and Lyrixa might like their gifts too!"

I chuckled, pleased to see Tharros' excitement. "I'm sure they'll love their gifts, Tharros. You've always had a talent for choosing thoughtful presents."
Thyriatrix called out from the kitchen, "Aetherius, dear, can you help me get everything ready? The feast is almost prepared."
I nodded, spreading my wings to envelop the room in a warm, gentle breeze. "Of course, my love. Let's get everything ready for our little ones' special day."
As I helped Thyriatrix with the final preparations, the hatchlings walked around the room, their young roars and laughter filling the air as they chatted excitedly with each other. "I can't wait to see what gifts we get!" Lyriath exclaimed. "Me too!" Vyraxys agreed. Nyxoria and Lyrixa were discussing what games they wanted to play later, while Kaidorix was boasting about his expected presents.
I smiled, feeling grateful for this loving family of mine. Today was going to be a wonderful celebration.
I called out, "Tharros and Lyriath and Vyraxys and Nyxoria and Lyrixa and Kaidorix gathered around it time to take your 4th birthday picture!" And I look at Kieraxys."You will stay near me since your birthday is not coming up for a while!" Kieraxys nodded.
As the six birthday dragons gathered around, I could see the excitement in their eyes. Tharros, being the eldest, took charge and arranged his siblings in a neat row. Lyriath, Vyraxys, Nyxoria, Lyrixa, and Kaidorix all smiled brightly, their scales shimmering in the light.
I smiled, taking in the joyful scene before me. "Alright, everyone! Say 'Draconic Bliss'!" I exclaimed, capturing the perfect moment with a mental image share through our Draconic Resonance.
The dragons all cheered and laughed, happy to have their special moment captured. Kieraxys, who was sitting by my side, looked up at me with big, curious eyes. "Father, when will it be my turn for a birthday celebration?" he asked, his voice full of anticipation.
I look at Kieraxys. "Not yet, but we will get there in the future for your 1st birthday!"
Kieraxys' face lit up with a bright smile. "Yay! I'm going to be one!" he exclaimed, bouncing up and down excitedly. I chuckled, ruffling his copper scales with a gentle nuzzle.
Thyriatrix, who was watching from the sidelines, smiled warmly. "I think someone's looking forward to their birthday," she said, amusement dancing in her eyes.
The six birthday dragons, now done with their photo shoot, began to get restless, eager to start their celebration. "Father, can we open our gifts now?" Tharros asked, his silver scales glinting with excitement.
I nodded "Yes but after that, we will be doing your birthday race!"
The six birthday dragons cheered and roared in excitement, their eyes shining with anticipation. Tharros, Lyriath, Vyraxys, Nyxoria, Lyrixa, and Kaidorix all loved the traditional birthday race, where they would soar through the skies, their scales glinting in the sunlight.
"Remember, the winner gets to choose the evening's activity!" Thyriatrix reminded them, a sly grin spreading across her face.
The dragons all nodded eagerly, already planning their strategies for the big race. I smiled, watching my little ones bubble with excitement. It was going to be a fantastic celebration!

I watched with a warm heart as my six little dragons tore into their gifts, their roars of delight filling the air. Thyriatrix and I had carefully chosen each present, making sure they were tailored to each dragon's unique personality.
As they finished opening their gifts, I stood up, my wings spread wide. "Alright, my little ones! It's time for the birthday race! Who will be the fastest dragon of them all?" I declared, a playful glint in my eye.
The six birthday dragons cheered, their eyes shining with excitement. They all lined up at the starting point, their wings quivering with anticipation. I smiled, taking my place at the starting line. "On your marks, get set... GO!"
And I yelled out, "This year is 67 lap around this mountain!"
The six birthday dragons roared in unison, their wings bursting into motion as they took to the skies. Tharros, Lyriath, Vyraxys, Nyxoria, Lyrixa, and Kaidorix all shot off the starting line, their scales glinting in the sunlight as they began their 67-lap journey around the mountain.
I watched with pride, my wings spread wide as I took to the skies to oversee the race. Thyriatrix flew alongside me, her eyes shining with excitement. "This is going to be a close one," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
I nodded in agreement, my eyes scanning the pack of racing dragons. Tharros was taking an early lead, but Lyriath and Vyraxys were hot on his heels. Nyxoria, Lyrixa, and Kaidorix were trailing slightly behind, but they were gaining speed with every lap.
As the laps ticked by, the dragons' roars grew louder, their wings beating fiercely as they jostled for position. Tharros, Lyriath, and Vyraxys were neck and neck, their scales glinting in the sunlight as they tore around the mountain.
Nyxoria, Lyrixa, and Kaidorix were closing in, their determination evident in their fierce cries and powerful wingbeats. The air was electric with excitement, and Thyriatrix and I were on the edge of our seats, cheering on our little ones.
Suddenly, Tharros made a daring move, swooping low to gain speed and then soaring high to take the lead. Lyriath and Vyraxys were hot on his heels, but Nyxoria was making a surprising comeback, her wings beating with renewed strength.
"Who's going to take the win?" Thyriatrix exclaimed, her voice full of excitement.
I grinned, my eyes fixed on the dragons. "It's anyone's game!"
I look at Kieraxys, my youngest son who is watching his all his older siblings' flying races around this mountain that is our home
Kieraxys looked up at me with wide, shining eyes, his tiny wings fluttering with excitement. "Father, can I fly like them one day?" he asked, his voice full of wonder.
I smiled, reaching out to gently ruffle his copper scales. "Of course, little one," I said. "You'll be flying just like your siblings in no time. And who knows, maybe one day you'll be the fastest dragon of them all."
Kieraxys' face lit up with a bright smile, and he watched his siblings with renewed enthusiasm, cheering them on as they zoomed past. Thyriatrix and I exchanged a warm glance, our hearts full of pride and joy for our little family.
All of them are now in the 66 lap and only need 1 more lap
The tension was palpable as the six birthday dragons thundered around the mountain, their wings beating in unison as they entered the final lap. Tharros, Lyriath, and Vyraxys were still neck and neck, their scales glinting with determination.
Nyxoria, Lyrixa, and Kaidorix were close behind, refusing to give up. The air was electric with excitement, and Thyriatrix and I were on the edge of our seats, cheering on our little ones.
Kieraxys, not to be left out, was jumping up and down, his tiny wings flapping wildly as he shouted, "Go, siblings, go!"
I grinned, my heart swelling with pride. This was it – the final lap. Who would emerge victorious?
As the six dragons rounded the final bend, their roars grew louder, their wings beating fiercely as they sprinted towards the finish line. Tharros, Lyriath, and Vyraxys were still locked in a fierce battle for first place, their scales glinting with determination.
Nyxoria, Lyrixa, and Kaidorix were closing in, their eyes fixed on the finish line as they summoned every last bit of energy for a final burst of speed.
The crowd – which consisted of Thyriatrix, Kieraxys, and me – was on its feet, cheering and shouting encouragement as the dragons thundered towards the finish line.
And then, in a flash of scales and wings, it was over. The dragons crossed the finish line, their chests heaving with exhaustion, their eyes shining with triumph.
I looked at Thyriatrix, who was grinning from ear to ear. "And the winner is..." I began, pausing for dramatic effect.
"...Tharros!" I declared, a mighty roar erupting from my throat as I raised a claw in triumph.
Tharros let out a victorious bellow, pumping his claws in the air as his siblings gathered around to congratulate him. Lyriath and Vyraxys, who had come in second and third, respectively, grinned good-naturedly, happy to have been a part of the thrilling competition.
Nyxoria and Lyrixa cheered and clapped, their faces flushed with excitement. Kieraxys, who had been watching with wide eyes, jumped up and down, shouting "Tharros won! Tharros won!"
But Kaidorix looked disappointed, his eyes cast downward. "Tharros always wins," he muttered, his voice tinged with frustration. This was indeed Tharros' third consecutive win, and Kaidorix had been hoping to finally take the top spot.
Thyriatrix and I exchanged a knowing glance. We knew Kaidorix was a bit disappointed, but we also knew he would bounce back. After all, that was what being a dragon was all about – perseverance, determination, and never giving up.
Vyraxys slammed his tail and bonk his hand "HEY I DID WON IN OUR 2ND BIRTHDAY KAIDORIX!" Vyraxys shouted at him
Pov Kaidorix
I looked up at Vyraxys, my eyes widening slightly as he slammed his tail and shouted at me. I felt a twinge of embarrassment, remembering that Vyraxys had indeed won on our 2nd birthday.
"Y-yeah, I remember," I stuttered, looking down at my feet. Vyraxys' outburst had caught me off guard, but I knew he was just trying to remind me that Tharros wasn't the only one who could win.
I took a deep breath and looked up at Vyraxys, a small smile on my face. "Hey, Vyraxys, you're right. You did win on our 2nd birthday. Maybe next year I'll finally beat Tharros!"
Lyrixa monks me. "You are indeed an idiot and a dummy Kaidorix!" I look at my big sister Lyrixa."I'm not a dummy!"
I protested, my voice rising in indignation. "I'm not a dummy! I'm just...just really competitive, that's all!" I looked up at Lyrixa, my eyes flashing with defiance.
Lyrixa chuckled, a mischievous glint in her eye. "Oh, really? Competitive, huh? Well, maybe you should focus on being faster instead of just being loud," she teased, her voice dripping with sarcasm.
I scowled, feeling my scales prickle with annoyance. But before I could retort, Lyriath intervened, placing a calming claw on my shoulder. "Hey, hey, no need to fight, you two. It's just a game, remember?"
Lyriath's calming presence helped to diffuse the tension, and I took a deep breath, letting my annoyance dissipate. Lyrixa, too, seemed to relax, her mischievous glint replaced by a warm smile.
"Thanks, Lyriath," I said, feeling a bit more at ease. "I just get really frustrated when I don't win."
Lyriath chuckled. "I know, little brother. But you'll get your chance to shine soon enough. And besides, it's not just about winning – it's about having fun with the family."
I nodded, feeling a bit more philosophical about the whole thing. And besides, I had to admit, it was pretty cool to see Tharros so happy about his win.
Just then, Father – Aetherius – spoke up, his voice booming across the gathering. "Alright, my dear family! Now that the racing is done, it's time for the feast to begin!"
The family cheered, and we all began to make our way towards the feast, which was spread out before us in all its glorious, dragon-sized proportions.
Tharros patted and rubbed my head on where Vyraxys bonk his tail at my head
I couldn't help but laugh as Tharros patted and rubbed my head, trying to soothe the spot where Vyraxys had bonked me with his tail. It was a gentle, brotherly gesture, and I felt a warmth in my heart towards Tharros.
"Thanks, Tharros," I said, smiling up at him. "I think I'll survive."
Tharros chuckled and grinned, his silver scales glinting in the sunlight. "I'm just making sure you don't get too bruised, little brother," he said, his voice teasing but affectionate.
I rolled my eyes good-naturedly, but deep down, I was happy to have such a caring and protective older brother like Tharros.

I smiled warmly as I patted and rubbed Kaidorix's head, trying to soothe the spot where Vyraxys had bonked him with his tail. My little brother could be a bit of a hothead sometimes, but I loved him to bits.
As I looked down at Kaidorix, I felt a surge of pride and protectiveness. I was the oldest, after all, and it was my job to look out for my siblings. And Kaidorix, with his forest green scales and mischievous grin, was especially dear to me.
I chuckled as Kaidorix rolled his eyes good-naturedly, but I could see the appreciation in his eyes. He knew I was just trying to take care of him, and that meant a lot to me.
"Come on, little brother," I said, clapping Kaidorix on the back. "Let's go get some food. I'm starving after that race!"

I couldn't help but let out a excited roar as Father presented the feast before us. My eyes landed on the perfectly cooked Starlight Steak, and my stomach growled in anticipation.
"Thank you, Father!" I exclaimed, my voice filled with gratitude. I couldn't wait to sink my teeth into that tender, juicy steak.
I took my seat at the table, my siblings chattering excitedly around me. Lyriath was already digging into his Ember Roast, while Vyraxys was eagerly awaiting his Thunderhoof Ribs. Nyxoria, Lyrixa, and Kaidorix were all chatting and laughing, their faces lit up with excitement.
I smiled, feeling happy to be surrounded by my loving family. This was what birthdays were all about – good food, good company, and making memories that would last a lifetime.
I looked over at Father, who was beaming with pride. "This is the best birthday ever, Father," I said, my voice sincere.
Father smiled, his eyes twinkling. "I'm glad you're enjoying it, Tharros. You and your siblings deserve all the happiness in the world."
I took a big bite of my 4 year old month of the Starlight steak
The flavors of the Starlight Steak exploded in my mouth as I took a big bite. The tender meat was cooked to perfection, and the subtle sweetness of the starlight seasoning danced on my taste buds.
I closed my eyes, savoring the moment, and let out a contented sigh. This was, without a doubt, the best Starlight Steak I'd ever had. Father had truly outdone himself this time.
As I chewed, I felt a sense of satisfaction wash over me. This was what being a dragon was all about – enjoying good food, good company, and the simple pleasures in life.
I opened my eyes to find my siblings all staring at me, amused grins on their faces. "What?" I asked, my mouth still full of steak.
Kaidorix chuckled. "You're just really enjoying that steak, aren't you?" he teased.
I nodded, still chewing, and my siblings all burst out laughing.
I couldn't help but laugh along with them, my mouth still full of steak. It was a moment of pure joy, surrounded by my loving family and savoring the delicious food.
Lyriath, always the jokester, chimed in, "I think Tharros is in steak heaven!"
Vyraxys and Nyxoria giggled, and even Lyrixa cracked a smile. Kieraxys, the youngest, just looked at us all with wide, curious eyes, unsure what all the fuss was about.
Father, sitting at the head of the table, smiled warmly at us. "I'm glad you're all enjoying the meal," he said, his eyes twinkling with pleasure.
Mother, Thyriatrix, leaned over and nudged me playfully. "Tharros, you're going to have to learn to savor your food without making such a show of it," she teased, laughing.
I grinned, still chewing, and shrugged. "Can't help it, Mother. This steak is just that good!"
After we were done eating, I burp
A loud, rumbling burp echoed through the room, causing my siblings to burst out laughing. "Tharros, you're so classy!" Lyriath teased, chuckling.
Vyraxys and Nyxoria giggled, and even Lyrixa cracked a smile. Kieraxys, still looking a bit puzzled, asked, "Tharros, why did you make that loud noise?"
I grinned, feeling a bit mischievous. "It's just a dragon's way of saying 'thank you' for a delicious meal," I explained, winking at Kieraxys.
Father chuckled, shaking his head. "Well, I suppose that's one way to express gratitude," he said, smiling.
Mother just rolled her eyes good-naturedly. "Tharros, you're going to have to learn some manners," she teased, laughing.
As an hour passes and the sun sets and the moon rises, we all go to sleep, and I go to my usual spot under my father wing
I snuggled up under Father's wing, feeling the warmth and comfort of his presence. It was a familiar and cozy spot, one that I had claimed as my own since I was a little dragon.
As I settled in, Father wrapped his wing around me, holding me close. I felt his gentle breathing, and the soft rustle of his scales as he shifted to get comfortable.
The moonlight streaming through the window cast a silver glow over the room, and I watched as my siblings drifted off to sleep, one by one. Lyriath and Vyraxys were already snoozing, their gentle snores filling the air. Nyxoria and Lyrixa were curled up together, their eyes closed in peaceful slumber. Kieraxys was sleeping fitfully, his tiny wings twitching as he chased after dream-prey.
I smiled, feeling grateful for this wonderful family of mine. As I drifted off to sleep, I felt Father's gentle heartbeat, and the soft whisper of his voice in my ear. "I love you, Tharros. Sleep tight, my son."

As I settled in for the night, I felt a sense of gratitude for this wonderful life of mine. I had a loving mate, Thyriatrix, and seven beautiful children, each one unique and special in their own way.
I closed my eyes, feeling the peacefulness of the night wash over me. It was moments like these that I cherished the most – surrounded by my loving family, feeling grateful for this wonderful life we shared.
As I settled in for the night, I felt Thyriatrix snuggle closer to me, her scales gently brushing against mine. I wrapped my wing around her, holding her close, and let out a contented sigh.
In this peaceful moment, surrounded by my loving family, I knew that I had found my true treasure. It wasn't gold or jewels, but the love and connection we shared.
I smiled, watching my children sleep, their gentle breathing and occasional twitch a reminder of the joy and life they brought to our family. I felt grateful for this wonderful life, and for the love that filled our home.
As the night wore on, I remained awake, keeping a watchful eye over my family as they slept. It was a privilege to be their father, and I took my responsibility to protect and care for them very seriously.
And I saw Thyriatrix walking towards me
I looked at Thyriatrix with a hint of confusion, wondering why she was getting up. Hadn't she just settled in for the night?
But as she approached me, I saw the gentle smile on her face, and her eyes sparkling with love. She nuzzled my cheek, her scales softly brushing against mine.
"I couldn't sleep," she whispered, her voice barely audible over the sound of our children's gentle breathing. "I was thinking about how lucky we are to have this life together."
I wrapped my wing around her, holding her close. "I was just thinking the same thing," I replied, my voice low and gentle. "We're blessed to have such a loving family."
Thyriatrix nodded, her eyes shining with happiness. "We certainly are," she said. "And I'm grateful to have you as my mate, Aetherius. You're an amazing father and partner."
My heart swelled with love and gratitude, and I leaned in to nuzzle Thyriatrix's cheek. "I'm grateful to have you too, my love," I whispered. "You're the best mate a dragon could ask for."
We stood there for a moment, basking in the warmth and love we shared. The silence between us was comfortable, filled only by the soft sounds of our children's breathing.
Thyriatrix was the first to break the silence, her voice barely above a whisper. "You know, Aetherius, I was thinking... maybe tomorrow we can take the children on a flight over the mountains?"
I smiled, my mind already racing with the possibilities. "That sounds like a wonderful idea, my love," I replied, my voice filled with enthusiasm. "The children would love it, and it would be a great way for us to spend some quality time together as a family."
Thyriatrix nodded, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "I'll start making preparations in the morning," she said. "And maybe we can even pack a picnic lunch to enjoy along the way."
I grinned, feeling grateful for this wonderful life we had built together. "Sounds like a perfect day to me," I said, and Thyriatrix smiled, nuzzling my cheek affectionately.
I giggled. "It funny that they are now 4 years old now, and they have a younger brother, Kieraxys!" I smiled
Thyriatrix chuckled, her eyes shining with amusement. "I know, it's hard to believe how fast they've grown," she said. "And Kieraxys is already bringing so much joy and energy to our family."
I nodded, smiling as I thought about our little family. "I'm so grateful for every moment we share together," I said, my voice filled with sincerity.
Thyriatrix's expression softened, and she reached out to gently touch my scales. "I am too, Aetherius," she said. "We're blessed to have such a loving and wonderful family."
I look at Tharros, who is under my wing and sleeping peacefully
I gazed lovingly at Tharros, who was indeed sleeping peacefully under my wing. His small chest rose and fell with each gentle breath, and his scales shimmered softly in the moonlight.
I smiled, feeling a surge of pride and love for my little son. He was growing up to be a strong and brave young dragon, and I couldn't wait to see what the future held for him.
Thyriatrix followed my gaze, and she too smiled at the sight of our sleeping son. "He's so precious," she whispered, her voice full of affection.
I nodded, my heart filled with love and gratitude for this wonderful life we had built together.
I smiled. "I be surprised if suddenly they are already 28 years old at the juvenile stage!"
Thyriatrix laughed, a soft, melodious sound. "Oh, Aetherius, that would be quite a shock, wouldn't it?" she said, her eyes sparkling with amusement.
I chuckled, imagining our little ones suddenly growing into powerful, juvenile dragons. "I think we'd need to start preparing for their independence if that happened," I said, grinning.
Thyriatrix nodded, smiling. "Indeed we would. But for now, let's just enjoy this moment and cherish the time we have with them while they're still young."
I wonder, "Will Tharros will eventually stop hiding and sleeping under my wing in the future? since the main reason he keeps doing it is because he is scared"
Thyriatrix's expression turned thoughtful, and she nodded slowly. "As Tharros grows older and becomes more confident, I'm sure he'll eventually outgrow his need to sleep under your wing," she said.
"But for now, it's sweet that he still feels comfortable enough to seek comfort and protection from you," she added, smiling. "It's a reminder that even though our children are growing up, they'll always need our love and support."
I nodded in agreement, feeling a sense of pride and responsibility as a father. I knew that Tharros's fears and insecurities were a normal part of growing up, and I was grateful that he felt safe enough to come to me for comfort.
I sighed. "Hey tomorrow, Kealith will be visiting us since the last time he saw them it was only Tharros and Lyriath and Vyraxys and Nyxoria and LyrixaKaidorix but not Kieraxys he will bring my first friends varkorus at thought he is not smart as Kealith he does bring trouble that Kealith have to clean it up!" I giggled
Thyriatrix chuckled, a hint of amusement in her voice. "Oh, Varkorus, always getting into trouble, I'm sure," she said, shaking her head.
"I'm looking forward to seeing Kealith tomorrow, though," she added. "It's always nice to have him visit. And I'm sure the children will be excited to show off their new sibling, Kieraxys."
I grinned, thinking about the upcoming visit. "Definitely. And I'm sure Kealith will have some interesting stories to share. With Varkorus by his side, there's always bound to be some kind of adventure."
I smiled. "He is my best friend and an elder. I met him at the same place and time on where I met you in the starlight gathering!"
Thyriatrix's eyes sparkled with delight, and she smiled warmly. "Ah, yes, the Starlight Gathering," she said, her voice filled with nostalgia. "That was a magical night, wasn't it? Little did we know that our lives would become so intertwined."
She leaned in, her voice taking on a more intimate tone. "I'm so grateful that we met that night, Aetherius. And I'm also grateful for Kealith's presence in our lives. He's a wise and kind elder, and a wonderful friend to you."
I nodded, and I looked outside. It was still dark and smiled. "You may still never know this, but Kieraxys is powerful, then you think," I teased, and Thyriatrix lookat me confused
Thyriatrix's expression changed from calm to curious, her eyes narrowing slightly as she looked at me. "What do you mean, Aetherius?" she asked, her voice tinged with intrigue. "Kieraxys is still just a youngling, what makes you think he's more powerful than we realize?"
She took a step closer to me, her scales rustling softly as she moved. "You've noticed something, haven't you?" she pressed, her eyes sparkling with curiosity.
I shook my head "no but I do think he is!"
Thyriatrix chuckled, a soft, melodious sound. "You're being mysterious, Aetherius," she teased, her eyes sparkling with amusement.
She nudged me playfully with her snout. "Well, I suppose we'll just have to wait and see what the future holds for Kieraxys," she said, smiling. "But I have no doubt that he'll grow up to be a powerful and wonderful dragon, just like his siblings."
I yawned, and my eyes felt sleepy
Thyriatrix noticed my yawn and smiled softly. "Time for some rest, I think," she said, her voice gentle. "We can talk more in the morning, when the sun is shining bright."
She settled in beside me, her scales softly glowing in the dim light. "Sleep tight, my love," she whispered, nuzzling my cheek.
My head fell to the ground in a loud though
Thyriatrix gasped softly, rushing to my side. "Aetherius, are you okay?" she whispered urgently, nudging my head gently with her snout.
I groggily opened my eyes, feeling a bit disoriented. Thyriatrix's worried face came into focus, and I smiled weakly. "I'm fine, just... fell asleep suddenly," I mumbled, my voice slurred with sleepiness.
