We see team 7, Tazuna, and Goku arrive at Tazuna's home. Tazuna would knock on his door, and a young woman would open the door, and as she did, we could see tears would fall from her eyes and smile.
?: Dad, you finally made it. I was worried that something could have happened to you.
Tazuna: Tsunami, you worried too much. Thanks to these young ninjas, I made it safely.
Tsunami: Thank you for bringing my father home safely.
Sakura: No problem. It is our mission to bring him home safely.
Goku: Sorry, but I don't want to sound rude. But is there a room we can use for Kakashi to rest?
Tsunami: Yes, please follow me. I have a Spera room available for him to use.
It was early morning, and we saw Goku training in the woods by shadow sparing with his mother, Tsunade. But like in the past, he would always lose.
Goku: It doesn't matter how anytime I shadow spar with my mom, I lose to her. I know I have her beat on speed and agility, but her raw power is still too much for me, and her auto recovery is more significant than mine. I wonder how much training I need to do to catch up to mom and big sister. I also see that I would have to increase the weights on my prayer beads with a bit more training. I should return to the house. Kakashi sensei should be waking up soon.
At Tazuna's home.
Kakashi: It seems I've overused my Sharingan.
Tsunami: Are you alright, Sensei?
Kakashi: Not really. It will be hard to move for about a week.
Tsunami: Well. It would be better if you didn't move for a while.
Kakashi: Sorry, but where am I, and who are you?
Tsunami: My name is Tsunami. I'm Tazuna's daughter, and your st our home.
Sakura: Hey! Sensei's awake.

Kakashi: Where's Goku?

Tazuna: I saw the boy walking into the woods. He said he was going to do some training and that he needed to be prepared again.
Sakura: Anyway, that kid with the mask. What was he?
Kakashi: He was an ANBU black ops from the Hidden Mist village. It's a mask that the elite Ninja Tracking Unit wears.
Naruto: The elite Ninja Tracking Unit?

Tazuna: What he can't be? We all saw how you, Kakashi, and that other ninja took Zabuza out.
Sakura: Mr. Tazuna is right. Zabuza is dead. We saw how he got killed.
Kakashi: I'm sorry, Sakura, but Goku is correct. Zabuza is still alive. Do any of you see what that Ninja did to his body?
Sakura: That masked one took Zabuza away!
Goku: That's right.
Kakashi: If he needed proof he'd kill Zabuza, he could simply have taken the head. And the question is the weapon the Ninja tracker kid used to kill Zabuza.
Sasuke: A regular Senbon needles. That's impossible.
Kakashi: Right, it's impossible?!
Naruto: But Kakashi Sensei, you and Goku ensured he was dead.
Kakashi: It's true; we did make sure. But, he was probably just in a state of near-death.
Goku: The Senbon that Tracker Ninja used has a very low ability to kill unless it hits a vital spot. It was initially used for medical treatments such as acupuncture therapy. Ninja trackers know all about the structure of the human body; putting people into a state of apparent near death is probably simple for them.
Kakashi: First, he took Zabuza's corpse, probably heavier than he was. Second, he used a Senbon needle as a weapon with a low ability to kill. From these two factors, that kid wasn't aiming to kill Zabuza but to save him.
Tazuna: Aren't you reading way too much into it?
Kakashi: No. If something seems fishy, a ninja makes preparations before it's too late. That's also an iron-clad rule of the Shinobi!
Goku "in his mind": Humph. To hear that Zabuza may be alive, Naruto is pleased, and it looks like he wants a go at him as well.

Inari: Huh, a hero. That's ridiculous! There's no such thing!
After an hour of talking, we see team 7 and Goku in the wood with Kakashi as he explains how to use Chakra to climb on trees without using their hands.
Kakashi: Before that, let me explain Chakra power for a Ninja from the basics.
Naruto: Of course, we know about that! Cratta, right?
Goku: It's called Chakra.
Kakashi: Would you please explain it to him?
Sakura: Are you listening, Naruto?! It's tiresome, so I'll explain it! Chakra is energy that a Ninja needs when he uses a Jutsu! It's made up of two energies:
1) Physical energy is gathered together from each cell in the body.
2) Spiritual energy accumulated based on numerous pieces of training and experiences!
In other words, Jutsu wrings out and combines these two energies from within the body, and this is called "combining the Chakra." Then Chakra is activated by forming hand "signs."
Kakashi: That's exactly right! Iruka Sensei does have good students.
Naruto: Whatever! I may not understand complicated explanations, but I'll learn it with my body!
Sasuke: Naruto is right. We're already able to use Jutsu.
Goku: Wow, idiots. You guys think if you both know how to use Chakra efficiently just because you can do clones or spit off a ball of fire. What did the academy teach you guys? I'm glad I didn't go to that stupid academy.
Kakashi: Enough. Goku is correct on this. Sakura, Sasuke, and Naruto, you guys still haven't used Chakra efficiently.
Naruto: What!!
Kakashi: Hold on and listen. As Sakura explained earlier, combining Chakra means picking up both the physical and spiritual energies and mixing them within the body. And, of course, the amount of each energy, the preparation of the energy, changes based on the Jutsu you want to activate. All of you at present aren't using Chakra efficiently! Even if you combine a lot of Chakra, if you're not able to control it in a balanced way, the effectiveness of the Jutsu will not only be cut in half but may not even be activated at all.
Goku: Wasting energy will prevent you from battling for long periods. These are some of the weaknesses that can occur.
Naruto: W-What should we do...?
Kakashi: You need to learn to control the Chakra with your body! It's difficult training that requires you to put your life on the line to master!
Sakura: W-What will we do, sensei?
Kakashi: Tree climbing.
Sakura/Naruto/Sasuke: Tree climbing?
Kakashi: That's right. But it's not just simple tree-climbing! You will climb without using your hands.
Sakura/Naruto/Sasuke: What? How?
Goku: Well! Just watch.
Goku would walk up to the tallest tree. He would focus some chakra on the bottom of his feet. He would start walking upwards to the very top of the tree.
Naruto: He's climbing.
Sakura: Perpendicular to the tree and with his feet!
Kakashi: So see, kind of like that. Focus the Chakra on the bottoms of your feet and make them stick to the tree trunk. If you use Chakra well, you can do things like this.
Sakura: Wait a minute! How does something like that make you strong?
Kakashi: This training aims to accumulate the required amount of combined Chakra to the required spot. This isn't easy, even for an expert Ninja.
Goku: Well, I wouldn't go that far, Kakashi sensei. Saying that, it's difficult for an expert Ninja. Yes, it is hard, but everyone can do it. One needs to put in the effort and hard work.
Sakura: Now, long did it takes you to climb a tree?

Kakashi and Goku continue explaining to the rest of team 7 about chakra and its abilities and uses. Kakashi placed three kunai in front of Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke, letting them know to use them to mark how high they go up the tree. Team 7 would start focusing their chakras onto the bottom of their feet and climbing the trees. Sakura would reach the top of the tree first.
Sakura: This is pretty easy!
Sasuke: What?!
Gaku: So, it looks like the one with the best control of the Chakra is Sakura.
Naruto: Wow! Way to go, Sakura! Just what you'd expect from the girl I set my sights on! But it does sort of tick me off.
Kakashi: Well, not only does Sakura know about Chakra, her control and stamina are pretty good. It looks like. Unlike someone else, she might be closest to becoming a Hokage. And also, the Uchiha Clan isn't that great.
Sakura: Shut up, Sensei! Sasuke won't like me then!
Goku: Okay, Kakashi sensei, I'm going to leave and go to see Mr. Tazuna needs help at the bridge.
Kakashi: Sounds good. Thank you for helping me.
Sasuke and Naruto continued training all day while Goku and Sakura were at the bridge with Tazuna. Every worker at the bridge was shocked to see how Goku would carry wooden logs as if they were nothing to him.
Tazuna: It looks like you've got some time to k*ll there all by yourself. What happened to the blond boy and that stuck-up boy?
Sakura: They're in the middle of the tree-climbing training.
Tazuna: You guys don't have to do that?
Sakura: I'm exceptional, so Kakashi Sensei told me to guard you.
Goku: And I'm just that awesome too.
A few moments later, we see Tazuna arguing with one of his workers due to fear of Gato coming for them to kill everyone.
Tazuna: Giichi, you don't have to come back tomorrow.
Goku: Sakura, let's go; we're finished here. We should meet Kakashi at the house.
Tazuna: Can we quickly stop in town and pick up some groceries for tonight's dinner?
Goku and Sakura would go with Tazuna to town for groceries, but when walking there, they realized the town's status. There is barely any food in the stores. People in the streets are sleeping. Even a small boy would come and ask for food. Sakura would take out some snacks in her bag, and Goku would give the boy some money.
Goku: This is all the money I got with me. Use it on you and the children hiding behind the barrels. Are they your family?
Boy: Yes, they are my younger siblings.
Goku: Take care of them, okay?
Boy: Yes, I will thank you so much for this.
Tazuna: That's generous of you to hand out that much money.
Goku: Money is not a problem for me. I have been blessed.
Tazuna: This is how it's been ever since Gato showed up. Here, all the adults have turned into cowards. So that's why now that bridge is necessary. It's a symbol of bravery to restore their spirit, so they don't keep running away for the people of this land who have set their minds on remaining passive. If we can complete that bridge, this town will return to how it once was, and everyone will come back.
Goku: You guys go ahead. I want to see if I can hunt for more meat.
Sakura and Tazuna continue walking towards Tazuna's home when a stranger tries to steal Sakura badly, but she punches him in the face calling him a pervert.
After an hour, everyone would be that the house getting ready for dinner and sitting around a table.
Tazuna: Hey, this is fantastic. It's been ages since we've had so many guests around our table.
Naruto/Sasuke/Goku: I want some more.
Naruto and Sasuke would just stare at each other when all of a
Sakura: Don't eat so much if you're going to puke it up.
Sasuke: I have to eat.
Naruto: I have to eat even if it means enduring. I have to get strong as quickly as possible to beat Sasuke.
Goku: and I'm just hungry. Can I have a third, please?
Tsunami: Of course. You did bring extra meats for us all to eat. So eat as much as you'll like.
Goku: Thank you. Your cooking is so delicious.
Sakura: Goku, how can you eat so much and not gain weight?
Goku: Well, I don't know. When I was six years old, I started eating three times more than anyone normal around my age. If I remember correctly, I think my mom said it was due to my training and that my metabolism is higher than anyone else. May I have another place, please?
Sakura "in her thoughts": What type of training did he go through?
After finishing his 12th place, Goku would relax and stretch for a bit.
Goku: Kakashi sensei, is it ok if I go to bed? I want to get up early and get some training done.
Kakashi: It's fine by me. Just don't overdo yourself when training.
Sakura: Excuse me, why is there a torn picture hanging here? Inari was looking at this all through dinner. This torn part looks like someone in the photo was deliberately torn off.
Tsunami: It's my husband.
Tazuna: He's a man who was once called a hero of this town.
Tsunami: Dad! I'm always telling you not to talk about that person in front of Inari!
Naruto: What're you saying happened with Inari?
Tazuna: Inari had a father not related by blood. It was like they were a birth father and son who got along well. Back then, Inari was a child who laughed all the time. However, Inari has changed. Ever since that incident with his father. The word bravery was eternally taken from this island's people and Inari. With that day, that incident, as the trigger.
Kakashi: That incident? What happened to Inari?
Tazuna: His name was Kaiza; he was a fisherman who'd come to this land from another country in search of his dreams. After that, Inari took to Kaiza. It may have been because Inari had lost his real father when he was too young to remember anything. But he was very attached to Kaiza. They were like father and son. It didn't take long for Kaiza to become a family member. And he was a man this town needed.
Tazuna: To explain the incident, I must first tell you about the man called the hero of this land. Hero? It was around three years ago when Inari met the man.
Tazuna would explain to everyone how this man became a hero, what happened to Inari's father, and what Gato and his man have done to his hometown.
The following day we still see Naruto and Sasuke continue their training. While Goku and Sakura are helping Tazuna at the bridge. Goku would use his shadow clones to help carrying some materials. And Kakashi spent most on the day at Tazuna's house trying to recover his chakra.
Goku: Hey its almost time to go back to Tazuna's home. I'm heading out to check for the trap and see if catch anything for dinner today. I'll se you guy later that the house.
Sakura: Ok I'll let Tazuna and Kakashi sensei know.
