After Jace's outburst, Ethan sat still, looking from Jace to me, the look of confusion on his face was evident and it was clear he was trying hard to grasp the gravity of what was really going on.
"Okay, let me get this straight," he said after a while. "You both have been fucking."
"Do not say it like that," I snapped at him. "You make it sound so crude."
Jace scoffed, "What? Should he say lovemaking? It's not like there's a lot of love involved, is there? Not when orgasm is the only goal we're chasing."
"Jace!" I cried in shock. "You know you're really acting like a child right now, right?"
"Oh, you'd know that! Seeing how you know everything about everyone else but yourself!"
"You know what… I can't do this right now!" I said as I grabbed my purse, fury pumping through my veins.
I was about to get up when Ethan spoke up, "Whoa! What the fuck? Where the hell are you going?"
"I'm leaving, dummy! What does it look like?"
