Chapter 145 - Chapter 145

As night fell, the group finished their dinner and sat around the campfire, gazing at the stars in the open sky.

Tonight, the stars were exceptionally beautiful.

A sky full of stars, accompanied by a crescent moon, made for a breathtaking scene.

"Ah Yao, Ah Mo, keep an eye on the surroundings," Si Lu instructed.

"Nans, come over here," Si Lu called out.

"Don't worry, it's safe here. Do what you need to do," Hei Yao replied with a knowing look at Si Lu.

Without needing to guess, he already knew what Si Lu was planning.

Cheng Mo also nodded at Si Lu.

The only one who didn't catch on right away was the big tiger, but he remained quiet, sewing a piece of beast hide.

He wasn't very skilled at it, but he was determined to make an outfit for Si Lu. He wanted to see her wear something he made with his own hands.

Si Lu had tried to dissuade him, but he was stubborn, so they let him continue.

"Lu Lu," Nans said, curious as he approached Si Lu.

He didn't know why she had called him over, but he obediently went to her side.

"Of course, I've got something good for you," Si Lu replied with a mysterious smile.

Seeing Si Lu's playful expression, Nans couldn't help but chuckle.

This little female was indeed quite adorable.

"What kind of good thing? I'm curious! Anything Lu Lu says is good must be something special!" Nans teased, gently patting Si Lu's head with a soft, affectionate gaze.

"Hehe," Si Lu giggled before waving her hand. Instantly, two large wooden barrels appeared in front of them, filled with clear spiritual spring water.

As soon as the barrels appeared, a sweet fragrance wafted into the air, making everyone feel refreshed.

Bai Di, who had been watching from the side, was visibly displeased.

Hmph, how lucky for that pink-haired rabbit!

"Lu Lu, what is this? Why does this water smell so sweet, and why do I feel so relaxed and comfortable?" Nans asked, astonished.

"This is spiritual spring water, and it's good for your body. Drink as much as you want! I have plenty," Si Lu explained.

"We've all had some already, and it can improve your strength. Drink as much as you can until you reach your limit," Cheng Mo added, looking at Nans.

Since Si Lu had accepted Nans into their group, they considered him family. It was only natural to support one another.

Cheng Mo approved of Si Lu sharing the spiritual spring water with Nans. His increased strength would benefit their entire group's safety.

"Then I won't hold back," Nans said, clearly moved. "Lu Lu, you're too good to me," he added, looking at Si Lu with gratitude.

Though he had never had this "spiritual spring water" before, he could feel its extraordinary nature just from the scent. It made his body feel lighter, and his mental state improved significantly. He trusted Si Lu completely and would never question anything she gave him.

Remembering Cheng Mo's words about the water boosting strength, Nans felt both excited and eager.

He had never heard of such a miraculous water before, capable of enhancing a beastman's strength.

"Come on, drink up! Drink as much as you can. It's all good for you," Si Lu urged with a smile.

They were all family now, so there was no need for formalities. With stronger companions, her own safety would be more secure too.

Since she had accepted Nans, she was ready to wholeheartedly support him.

"Okay," Nans nodded and approached the wooden barrels. He lifted one and began drinking in large, hearty gulps.

Nans was drinking boldly, but what was peculiar was that he didn't spill a single drop. Though he drank eagerly, he was also careful because this was something Si Lu had given him.

As he drank the first mouthful, he felt a warm, gentle current flowing through his body. It was as if the water had lightened him, making him feel incredibly relaxed and comfortable. The water even tasted faintly sweet.

Though it looked no different from regular water, once it entered his mouth, Nans realized how fragrant and delicious it was. His entire body felt revitalized, as if every cell was rejoicing.

As a beastman with water affinity, Nans already had a natural connection with water. The spiritual spring water only deepened that bond.

As he drank, the spiritual spring water seemed to transform into streams of energy, flowing throughout his body. It felt so uplifting that he almost let out a sigh of satisfaction.

He continued drinking enthusiastically, marveling at how extraordinary this water was. He was touched by Si Lu's generosity—she had shared this precious water without hesitation.

With each barrel he emptied, Si Lu quickly refilled it. Nans drank with gusto, and the others watched in amazement.

They had all experienced the effects of the spiritual spring water, but no one had ever seen someone drink so much of it at once.

Nans drank barrel after barrel, and Si Lu kept refilling them. Everyone, including Cheng Mo, was astonished by his seemingly limitless capacity.

Even the big tiger, focused on sewing, was dumbfounded by the sight.

Given Nans' natural affinity for water, Cheng Mo wondered if the spiritual spring water would bring about any unique changes for him.

As Nans continued drinking, everyone couldn't help but be impressed by his stamina. He had already downed over ten barrels without slowing down.

Not only was he drinking quickly, but he could also drink a lot!

The big tiger was thoroughly stunned.

Meanwhile, Cheng Mo found the situation quite intriguing, though the others didn't seem to mind as much.

It looked like Nans had plenty of potential left, and it didn't seem like he would stop any time soon.
