Chapter 91 - Chapter 91

When Song Zhan came out, he saw a large stone pot boiling over the fire, with hot water inside.

He poured some cold water and hot water into a basin, then carried it inside.

Carefully, he wiped Si Lu's body.

Of course, everyone was very considerate and didn't say a word.

After Song Zhan finished wiping Si Lu down, he transformed into a big tiger, lying beside Si Lu with his long tail wrapped around her waist.

The next day, at dawn, Si Lu opened her eyes and saw the big tiger lying beside her. A small smile crept onto her lips, and she reached out to rub the fluffy head of the big tiger.

She really liked this feeling.

That fluffy sensation made her incredibly happy every time she touched it.

"Lu Lu," Song Zhan's eyes were full of tenderness as he looked at Si Lu.

Seeing how much Si Lu enjoyed stroking his head, he felt immense happiness in his heart.

"Mhm, okay, let's get up. We'll eat something and then continue on our journey," Si Lu said to the big tiger.

She stood up and got dressed, playfully squeezing the big tiger's fluffy cheeks with both hands, smiling mischievously.

"Lu Lu, who are you going to ride on today?" The big tiger asked Si Lu.

His eyes lit up as he gazed at her fair skin, an expression of deep infatuation.

Her skin was so delicate.

Every time, he worried that if he wasn't careful enough with his strength, he'd accidentally leave marks or hurt her.

"I'm not sure yet. I'll decide later. It'll either be Ah Mo or Ah Yao," Si Lu replied.

To her, it didn't matter whose back she rode on.

But she knew it was different for them.

So, she had to be fair and take turns. If she rode one and not the other, it could lead to imbalance, and over time, that might cause conflict.

It was important to avoid favoritism and maintain harmony.

Not that any of them were particularly prone to jealousy; Si Lu could tell that much.

"Alright. If you don't want to ride on them, you can always sit on my back. I'm very steady," the big tiger said with a nod of his fluffy head.

He did want her to ride on his back, but he knew the rotation was necessary, and ultimately, it was up to Si Lu.

At this time, Si Lu finished getting dressed and walked out of the cave.

As soon as she came out, she saw Bai Di preparing breakfast. Meanwhile, Hei Yao and Cheng Mo had gone out hunting again.

"Lu Lu, are you hungry? Wash up, and then have some meat soup to warm yourself up," Bai Di said, his eyes full of concern.

"Mhm, it smells so good," Si Lu replied with a smile.

"You're so sweet, making me delicious food early in the morning. You're like the perfect homemaker," Si Lu said as she approached Bai Di, hugging him from behind and snuggling against his back playfully.

"As long as you like it. Go wash up first. Are you still not that hungry?" Bai Di asked gently, feeling a sense of sweetness from her embrace.

It was the first time she had hugged him like this.

He cherished the feeling, wanting more of it.

"Mhm, I'll go now," Si Lu replied reluctantly, walking over to the basin and starting her morning routine of washing her face and rinsing her mouth.

She was a bit hungry.

After all, as soon as she opened her eyes, she needed to eat.

Bai Di watched Si Lu's adorable behavior with fondness. Meanwhile, the big tiger came out and joined Bai Di in helping with the preparations.

After washing her face, Si Lu began drinking the meat soup Bai Di had prepared for her.

After drinking it, she felt revitalized.

She also felt full of happiness.

She was someone who was easily content and moved by the little things.

As long as she had food when she was hungry, she was satisfied.

In this world of beastmen, such things were quite good.

Given the limited conditions, she couldn't be too picky.

Si Lu understood that well.

After drinking two bowls of meat soup, Si Lu felt full.

"I'm full now; you all can eat," Si Lu said with a smile.

"Is that all you're eating?" Bai Di asked, a little worried as he furrowed his brow.

Was the meat soup not to her liking?

Before, she would eat roasted meat along with the soup, but now she only drinks two bowls of soup?

This made him a bit concerned.

After all, Si Lu wasn't just taking care of herself anymore—she was also carrying a child.

Why had she eaten so little this morning? Bai Di grabbed Si Lu's hand, using his plant abilities to check her body.

"Really, I'm fine. There's no need to be so alarmed," Si Lu said, feeling a bit guilty at seeing how worried Bai Di was.

She really didn't feel like there was anything wrong with her.

"You're indeed healthy, and so is the baby. There's no problem. But you ate so little this morning, which makes me worry," Bai Di said, frowning.

Si Lu's body was healthy, and so was the baby.

There was nothing wrong, but her small appetite was concerning.

"I don't know why either. I just don't have much of an appetite. Honestly, I feel full," Si Lu explained.

Maybe it was because of the traveling they'd been doing lately.

Either way, she truly couldn't eat more.

"Alright, it's no big deal. Don't worry. It's probably just because of the journey," Si Lu comforted Bai Di.

"Lu Lu, that won't do. You have to eat more. What kind of meat would you like? I'll hunt something different for you this evening," the big tiger said, worried that she might have grown tired of the usual meat.

"Sure, I'm not sure what kind of meat I'm craving right now, but later, you could try hunting something I haven't had in the past few days," Si Lu said with a smile.

She wasn't going to refuse their kindness.

"Mhm," Song Zhan nodded.

Just then, Bai Di's expression grew serious and alert.

He had sensed something approaching.

Not only that, there were footsteps.

"Song Zhan, something's coming. Stay on guard," Bai Di said as he quickly moved in front of Si Lu, his eyes fixed on the direction ahead.

Song Zhan's strength was slightly lower than Bai Di's, so his perception wasn't as sharp.

However, upon hearing Bai Di's words, he immediately shifted into battle mode, transforming into a mighty tiger and standing protectively in front of Si Lu and Bai Di, vigilantly scanning the surroundings.

Soon, he too sensed something approaching from the front.

Si Lu, hiding behind Bai Di, felt a surge of nervousness.
