Banou and Ayaz goes into the palace. She understand from the emperor that four royal physicians along with four assistants will be leaving for Ottoman empire. The translator have to be Banou since she is able to communicate fluently. Also they are comfortable with Banou. A small army of twenty will be following to escort the group. Banou inform Li Cheng regarding to this via a messenger. Li Cheng who receive the letter rush home that day. He ask her to stay and rush to the palace. He ask for another translator that will help. The ones they know are despatched to other region. Hence Banou is needed to help in this matter. Also the crown prince is her brother, a family that she have not seen for a long time. The emperor is giving her a chance to see her family.
Li Cheng returns with disappointment, he knows that his wife detest returning to a country that had branded her a traitor when she have done nothing at all. Banou sit alone in the boudoir staring at the wooden horse he had carved for her so long ago. She look up and smile at her husband. He walk in with a heavy footsteps. Li Cheng knee to her when she is still sitting on the chair. He take her hands and kiss them tenderly and place them on his cheeks.
"Promise me, you will come home."
"I will."
"If you don't, i will ride through the sands to get to you."
"Tomorrow ... they propose tomorrow we will set off. Now the season is not too hot to travel there. It's only the night, the wind will be strong and cold."

She cover a blanket on her and look at the moon outside the window. In A few hours time, she is to start travelling away from Tang. In the morning, the carriage with the flag of the Ottoman arrives in front of the mansion. Some of her belongs are pack and uploaded in it. Li Nan is making a fuss that his mother is going somewhere for a long time without him. Banou promise to return. He kick the flower pot and run away with Li Xin chasing after him. Banou apologised to Wang MoMo for the future troubles that Li Nan is going to create. She also ask Min Min to help Wang MoMo.
The carriage roll out within thirty minute when the carriage stop. Li Jun enter the carriage and declare that he will follow her to Persia and return with her.

No matter how much Banou protest, he simply sits there and smile. There is nothing the team can do thus they have to bring a prince along with them. He caught up and find his brother in there. Banou and LI Cheng talk for awhile. Li Jun watch in a distance he did not realised that the couples love each other that much. In a sense, he envy them. He have never have anyone who actually hold hands and look at each other in the eye. He have never kiss the hands of a girl too. He never said anything about loving them in their presences. Thus in anyways, he envy them. He watch Banou kiss his brother a few times. She never kiss him in the time together. He kick the stone on the road and sigh loudly. He got on the carriage and open his book. After Banou get in the carriage, she lift up the blinds. Li Cheng call out to his brother and ask him to kindly look after his wife. Li Jun smile and nod his head.
The carriage moved with the sun high up on their head. There is nothing for them to do thus most of the time, everyone is reading their books. Aylin who is following along sits with the driver, She watch the sands move along with the strong wind. Everything is moving smoothly. Within nearly three months, they see the sign of human activity and soon the main gate of the city appears. The people living outside the city are in awe to see the Chinese army. Usually, there are traders coming from other different counties but never have an army coming here. Thus the Ottoman army come riding up and surround them. Only Banou and Sir Ayaz is the Persians in the entourage who is able to tell them who they are and why they are here. The commander continue to surround them with his army of men. While a rider is dispatched to the palace. It takes awhile and Banou lift up the blinds to see the main gate. All the old memories comes flowing back to her. Her branding on her arms starts to hurt again.She remember all the sound of people booing and stones thrown. She saw the execution of her groom and his male family members. She saw the head of her groom roll and the crowd yell. Banou cannot forget all these. She continue to stare as the sunsets. The beautiful sun and sand cannot patch that darkest hour she had suffer. She only can try to live in happiness.
After a long time, the commander knock on the door of the carriage, he salute to Banou and later to Sir Ayaz. He did not know Princess Banou thus he is regretful that he holds her so long outside the city and treated them all like criminals. Banou who is used to it, keep quiet and ask to puoceed into the city without stopping them again. The commander agree and he sent his own guards to escort them in.
