This novel is undeniably inspired by Villain Wants to Live and Genius Blinker. I've never denied that fact and have even advertised it as such in Discord servers. If you've followed my replies to comments, you'll know I've taken inspiration from these works.
Do not expect this to be another Villain Wants to Live.
In any case, if you come reading expecting a progression fantasy, sorry to disappoint, but it's not. While there is action, magic, and a system, it doesn't follow the typical progression fantasy formula of leveling up and hunting monsters.
If you choose to read this, I hope you approach it with an open mind rather than making direct comparisons. A gem and a stone serve different purposes—this novel is the stone. Comparing the two will only diminish your experience. (Yes I took this from Entrail.)
For update schedule, just know that I'm a bum. As per writing this, I am still a university student, so writing is more or less a hobby, and I have other commitments, but I'll do my best to provide consistent updates when I can.
Regarding chapter prices, authors don't have control over them. They are determined by word count. If you see a chapter priced at 18–30 coins, it's because the word count is longer than usual. However, I don't pad my writing with unnecessary dump. So I can guarantee each chapter delivers actual content rather than air.
Lastly, if you plan to leave a low rating, please provide constructive feedback rather than just brainrot, do you seriously think you can judge what you think is nonsense when it's barely been explained and established yet?
I will certainly remove empty and nonsensical ratings as it harms my source of funds for university and scare away potential readers. Your critique helps me improve and gives future readers a better understanding of the novel's strengths and weaknesses.
