Chapter 33 - Chapter 33: This heart and this soul are yours

Tim's thoughts

I always thought that parents don't love their children. I never felt that they loved me and cared for me. I only had Theo and Damian, who were everything to me. After losing them, my world completely collapsed.

After my father decided to send me to school, it was more like a prison, because you can't call that place a school. A place where children are treated like prisoners. I decided it was time to run away from home, but I had to do it without anyone knowing about it. My only hope was Robert, so I asked him for help.

They sent another child to school instead of me, and I kept changing shelters. When I watched how they cared for and loved their children, I realized that there are parents who would do anything for their children.

I knew that I would never have parents like that. I had no idea that Willy's parents were like that. When I got home and saw him crying, that's when I understood everything. I tried my best not to do anything, because I know that no matter what happens to Willy, his parents will still be important to him. The same goes for me, despite what I had to go through for them, I still care about them to this day. I have every right to hate them, but I can't, because they brought me into this world and because of them I met Willy, a person for whom I would do anything.

What I can't stand the most are people who will do anything for money and parents who think that their children owe them their lives because they brought them into this world. Because of this, parents run their children's lives the way they want. They forget that their children are also people who have every right to live the way they want.

I live by one rule. I treat everyone the way they treat me.

The weather forecast this morning said a storm was coming, but it was nothing compared to the storm that would soon roll through the Millers' house.

Despite everything, Tim remained calm.

Tim: "Interesting. Do you treat all your guests like this when you invite them to your home, or am I special?"

Benjamin: "What are you talking about?"

Tim: "If you had already made a decision from the beginning, then what is the point of this meeting? Since I came here, I have been hearing you insult me. I don't care what you think of me at all. Why should I care what you think of me when you humiliate your child in front of someone dear to him? You know how hard I tried not to do anything, but you crossed red lines that you shouldn't have crossed. Every action has its consequences, and you should know this well. I wouldn't do anything if you were just trying to humiliate me, but you can't do the same to the person I love the most in this world."

Benjamin was angry at Tim's words.

Benjamin: "You fucking bastard, how dare you tell me all this?!!! Who do you think you are?? Don't you know how to behave with adults, you idiot?"

Tim: "I don't have good manners when it comes to dealing with adults because I didn't grow up with my parents, but instead I learned to treat everyone the way they treat you. If you expect appreciation and respect from me, then you should treat me that way too."

Benjamin: "You insolent brat, You really have no manners. I don't understand what my idiot son liked about you. Do you think you have any power because your father is a former ambassador?"

Tim laughed, which angered Benjamin even more.

Tim: "I don't need my father's money and power for anything, unlike you. If you've achieved anything, it's because your father left you this fortune. I achieved everything on my own. Are you wondering what I can do? I'm sure when you were trying to find out about me, you asked everyone about Tim Grant, but unfortunately for you, I'm not that person. That's why you have no idea what I can do."

Benjamin: "You need to teach a good lesson and then you won't talk like that. If your beloved boyfriend has anything, it's because of me. Let's see how you talk when I take everything away."

Willy wanted to say something, but Tim stopped him. He didn't want him to interfere in this conversation.

Tim: "Money, money... As I thought, you only care about money. How much did you spend on your son? 10, 15, 20 million? If I have more money than you, will you respect me?"

Everyone was silent, no one could say anything.

Tim: "Money is important to you, but Willy is important to me. I will give him everything I have. I will always make money, but if he is not with me, then my life will have no meaning. My soul, heart, and everything I have is his."

Benjamin: "You can only talk and nothing more. I will never agree to your relationship. You have neither money nor power. You talk as if you can do anything. You also have no education. If you had, you wouldn't have enrolled in university right now."

Tim: "I don't have an education? Hahaha I have a bachelor's and a master's degree. That's why I enrolled in university now because I was waiting to finish my master's degree.

I don't have money? There will be at least 7 billion in your son's account, I gave him this money so that he can spend it as he wants. That amount is nothing to me because I transferred 200 million. (It's because of the currency difference.) If I transferred all my money here, probably no one would know how to count it.

Don't I have the power? I'll show you what I can do. Willy cried because of you and you told him twice to break up with me, so now you'll understand that you should never do that again. Since you play dirty, I'll play dirty too."

Willy was surprised, he didn't know he had 7 billion in his account. The others were waiting for events to develop and no one was speaking. Tim took it out of his pocket and called someone.

Tim: "Alice, contact Terra Firm and Evolve and tell them not to renew their contract with Miller. If they ask you why, tell them it's my wish and nothing else."

Alice: "What if they ask me for another reason?"

Tim: "They won't ask you anything. They'll do everything without questions, because I say so. Prepare the Sapphire documents. From now on, its owner will be Willy."

Alice: "I'll prepare everything and send it to you for signature."

He finished talking on the phone and looked at Benjamin.

Tim: "From now on, every time you tell Willy that we should break up, you'll lose that many contracts. How many millions have you lost now? I know you've been wanting to buy the Sapphire Hotel for a long time, I was going to give it to you as a gift, but it's a good thing I didn't have to. Now your son has what you've been aiming for your whole life."

Benjamin was very angry, he couldn't find words. He still couldn't understand what had happened. A boy who doesn't seem to have that much power has caused chaos and a storm in his house.

Tim: "I think I've taught you enough lessons for today. Now it's time for us to leave, because I know you won't have time for anything at all. I think they'll call you soon and let you know about the cancellation of the contracts. It's a shame, you worked so hard to reach an agreement, but now you know the power of words."

Tim stood up and offered his hand to Willy. His heart was beating very fast as he waited for his answer. Willy took his hand and stood next to him. Tim's face showed that he felt relief.

Tim: "Mila and Alan, if you need anything, you know how to contact me. If you want your freedom, I can pay 20 million. I don't know how to put a price on a person, but it seems like you're worth 10 million to your father. Miles, I know you don't like me, but I'll help you if you need me."

Of course, they didn't answer him because the situation at home was very tense and they knew that after they left, more storms would erupt in the house.

Tim has now said goodbye to Benjamin and Alexandra.

Tim: "Before I go, this fucking bastard has defeated your father-in-law. It was nice meeting you, mother-in-law. Oh, I almost forgot, good luck sorting out this chaos. Advice: You can achieve anything if you love your children more than money."

After that, Tim and Willy went home together. Benjamin was so angry that he broke things in the house. Now the house really looked like it had been through a storm. If they loved their children and cared for them, none of this would have happened.
