Chapter 255 - Chapter 50: The Final Choice

Under the moonlight, Nia Honjo and Nibelcole, dressed in dark-colored nun spiritual attire, appeared at the scene.

The guards outside had all fallen to the ground, losing their ability to fight.

Looking at the savior who had appeared before her, the smile on the Holy Emperor face grew even brighter.

Perhaps the Wuxiang Society was indeed well-connected and had been able to kidnap her from the Holy Residence quietly, even covering up all traces.

However, wherever you go, you leave traces.

In the eyes of the omniscient, any kind of cover-up is meaningless.

The Holy Emperor believed from the bottom of her heart that Nia Honjo was the messenger of God, and she also firmly believed that even if the entire Tokyo couldn't find her, Nia Honjo would still be able to locate her.

Sure enough, she had come.

"Are you okay?"

Nia Honjo looked up and down at the pale-faced Holy Emperor, who was sitting on the chair with her hands and feet unbound, and couldn't help but ask, "You don't look very well."

"I just woke up from anesthesia, and my body and mind are still a little numb," the Holy Emperor replied, her expression full of gratitude and joy. "They didn't have the chance to do anything to me, but you found me here. Thank you very much."

"The one you should really thank is that old man, Kikunojou Tendo," Nia Honjo said, waving her hand. "If he hadn't informed me, I still wouldn't have known you were kidnapped."

"Mr. Tendo..."

Upon hearing this unexpected name, surprise appeared in the Holy Emperor eyes.

But soon, that surprise was replaced by an indescribable complexity.

*I've clearly launched a political crackdown on the Tendo family, yet he's still standing on my side?*

The Holy Emperor sighed deeply.

"We can talk about Kikunojou Tendo matter later," Nia Honjo said, turning her gaze toward a surveillance camera in the corner of the interrogation room. She tilted her head and added, "Before that, we have to solve this troublesome matter of the Wuxiang Society first."

This was a power station built in the industrial area of the outer district.

It wasn't actually that far from Nia Honjo shelter.

That's why she had been able to arrive so quickly.

However, this power station, directly controlled by the Wuxiang Society, wasn't just used for generating electricity it also served as their base in Tokyo.

The best proof of this was the "security guards" who had been knocked unconscious by Nibelcole along the way. They were so well-equipped that they could have been mistaken for special forces.

This showed the extent to which the Wuxiang Society had infiltrated Tokyo.

"Nia Honjo... is that so?"

Through the camera, the man on the other side also saw what was happening.

It was obvious that he was very surprised by Nia Honjo appearance.

He had ensured that the plan and route for kidnapping the Holy Emperor were flawless and would never be discovered.

Even if someone's technology was advanced enough to track their whereabouts through clues, it would have taken at least several days.

By that time, it would have been too late.

However, Nia Honjo had appeared here and even defeated his team deployed on the periphery.

Such a possibility hadn't even crossed his mind.

"Huh? You know my name?" Nia Honjo raised her eyebrows. "It seems I'm really famous."

"I only know your name," the man chuckled. "When I was investigating the Holy Emperor, I looked into you as well. I originally thought you were just an unimportant nobody, but now it seems you're the big fish."

When investigating the Holy Emperor, the Wuxiang Society had encountered a question they could never answer:

Why had the Holy Emperor received so much help in such a short period of time, as if she had become a completely different person?

But now, they seemed to have the answer.

"So, you are the mysterious advisor behind the Holy Emperor," the man's voice revealed curiosity. "The political whirlpool of the Tokyo government, the loss of power of the Tendo family, and even the introduction of the erosion rate blocker could it be that all of these are related to you?"

"You can continue to guess, Shigenagi Senichi," Nia Honjo said with a half-smile. "But there's no reward for guessing correctly."

The moment she said the name, the man fell silent.

It was as if a secret that should have been kept hidden had been revealed by the enemy, leaving him momentarily unsure how to respond.

"Haha, you're really interesting."

Two low, cold laughs were heard.

Then came the sound of a cage unlocking and a series of strange beast roars.

"I don't know how you know my name, but it doesn't matter. Take this secret to hell with you."

"What a petty man. Can't afford to play, so he flips the table?"

Feeling the breath of Gastrea creatures rising rapidly from the ground around her, Nia Honjo shook her head helplessly.

"Nibelcole, get ready for battle."

At the same time.

On the top conference floor of a building in Tokyo.

Through the projection, Murasaki Senichi watched the scene at the power station, his brows furrowing deeper and deeper.

Beneath the power station were the Gastrea organisms they had carefully cultivated ranging from stage one to stage three, totaling nearly a hundred.

This was the bomb they had planted in Tokyo.

Originally, he hadn't planned to use it in such a place, but after the woman had revealed his name, he had panicked.

Nia Honjo had to die.

Anyone who knew he was the highest-ranking member of the Wuxiang Society had to die.

However, the almost one-sided massacre at the power station made his knuckles turn even paler.

Nia Honjo was clearly holding a book and writing something, showing no intention of fighting, yet any Gastrea that approached her died in an unscientific way.

The little girl next to her was even more powerful. With just a wave of her hand, she could smash all the Gastrea creatures with her physical strength.

In close combat, these carefully bred Gastrea creatures could easily destroy even a regular army of a thousand people, but in their hands, they were as fragile as chickens and dogs.

Murasaki Senichi waved his hand and simply stopped watching.

"Gentlemen, if what you're seeing is true, we have a new problem."

He took a deep breath and addressed the dozen or so Wuxiang Society members who were only one level below him: "But don't worry too much. The situation is still under control."

"Still under control?!"

A middle-aged man with a large belly slammed the table and complained, "Not only did you fail to kill the Holy Emperor, but you also let her obtain information about the Wuxiang Society. This is your mistake alone!"

"Yes, this is a dereliction of duty by a top-ranking [Five Wing] cadre."

"What about the woman who appeared at the end? Why does she know your name?"

"What about the erosion rate blocker? We can't let that stuff spread around the world!"

In the meeting room, the sound of quarreling grew louder.

Murasaki Senichi face was gloomy as he tapped the table with his fingers.

Things were indeed spiraling out of control.

Whether it was the introduction of the erosion rate blocker, the expansion of the Holy Emperor political power, or the mysterious Nia Honjo, these were not problems they could solve in a short period of time.

But they had to solve them.

Struggling fiercely within himself, Murasaki Senichi bit his lip.

Although Tokyo was an important city, he had been planning here for several years just to bring this city under the influence of the Wuxiang Society.

But now, the situation had changed.

A glimmer of cruelty flashed in his eyes.

He was left with only one choice.
