Chapter 127 - 89 . Lake Managers(Part 1)

There are two types of Elites in China.

One, officially recognized.

The other, self-certified.

Self-certification naturally pales in comparison to officially recognized Elites.

This is the situation here in China.

The chat group Evan wants to build is naturally for real officially recognized Elite level people like Violet and Eli.

In addition, when more Elites are promoted in the future, they can join to expand the network.

Natalie and Iris left directly after dropping off their Pokémon.

And Evan began preparing energy cubes for their Pokémon.

Isla and the others had already made a lot of energy cubes before.

Most of them are for Grass-type, Psychic-type, and Fighting-type pokemon.

The energy cubes they made are tailored to pokemon living in Evan's orchard.

Which Pokémon type is most common in Evan's orchard?

It is Grass-type.

Because of Gardevoir and others, Isla also prioritized Psychic.

They also made a batch of energy cubes for fighting type as a reward for Machamp, because all the heavy lifting in the breeding center is done by Machamp.

If they are imperfect, they can be given to wild Pokémon.

The lower-grade cubes are often mixed in with basic cubes to feed Pokémon in the back.

For those wild Pokémon, those substandard cubes are a treasure.

After eating many energy cubes provided by Evan, the Pokémon in the back mountain grew much stronger.

If this trend continues, the Pokémon at Evan's Orchard will all be Peak level or beyond.

This is already quite a force.

I just don't know what the future holds.

Evan arranged all the energy cubes.

Then he called the Pokémon over.

The room here is specially designed for the fostered Pokémon to eat.

Evan began explaining to the Pokémon.

"From now on, you'll eat here, got it?"

"When you're hungry, come here and get something to eat."

"One box at a time."

"And don't throw away the box. Put it aside. Mr. Mime will clean and reuse it."

"The box opens with a slight pull."

"This is very simple."

Evan demonstrated briefly.

When Evan explained, the Pokémon nodded eagerly.

'Eevee!'

They understood!

Looking at the food, they couldn't help swallowing in anticipation.

It smelled delicious.

In fact, the whole room was filled with the aroma.

Seeing their excitement, Evan smiled warmly.

"If you're hungry, go ahead and eat some."

"Otherwise, you'll have to wait until noon."

When the Pokémon heard this, they immediately shook their heads.

They weren't hungry yet—just a little greedy.

Evan didn't mind.

Instead, he took out a few energy cubes and handed them over, letting the Pokémon have a taste.

After eating the cubes, their eyes lit up.

The flavor was incredible.

Evan's formulas were crafted specifically based on Pokémon attributes, making them perfect for each Pokémon's taste.

Different Pokémon have different attributes and naturally unique flavor preferences.

However, as long as the attributes matched, the taste was nearly the same—except for a few special cases.

For instance, Eevee could eat almost anything and find it delicious.

After all, with so many evolutionary possibilities, its palate was highly adaptable.

Once Evan ensured the food suited the Pokémon, he put the energy cubes away and let them play outside.

Outside, Medicham approached Evan.

"Can I train with the other Pokémon here?"

Evan was momentarily surprised but quickly nodded.

"Although your Trainer didn't ask me to train you," he began, "if you want to train, you're welcome to join in."

"The other Pokémon here also need practice, so feel free to spar with them."

"If you get hurt, don't worry—I have a recovery machine. I can easily treat your injuries."

Evan didn't refuse the request.

"If you're motivated to train, then go ahead. I won't stop you."

Typically, Evan wouldn't train guest Pokémon unless explicitly instructed, but he saw no harm in letting them improve their combat skills.

Medicham nodded in gratitude and ran off, heading straight for Lucario to start sparring.

Eevee and the other Pokémon, curious as ever, hurried after them.

A female Machamp also joined the scene.

This particular Machamp had been left in Evan's care.

Hmm, will it leave an egg next time it's here?

If a guest's Pokémon left behind an egg while staying at the breeding house, Evan was allowed to keep it under the agreement.

Of course, the guest would be compensated—usually half the market price for the egg.

But most guests didn't want the egg.

If they already had a Pokémon, they typically weren't eager to raise its offspring.

Only if the family needed it or had relatives interested would they take it back.

Otherwise, the breeding house would sell it and share the earnings.

These terms were clearly outlined in the agreement.

Evan secretly wished more Pokémon would leave eggs behind.

He even had a mischievous plan brewing.

He thought about Eli's pseudo-Legendary Pokémon and the possibility of bringing in female Ditto.

If Eli's Pokémon helped...

It's a little devious, isn't it? Evan thought, smiling slyly.

After settling the Pokémon, Evan reached out to his supplier.

"Have you found all the Prism Scales I need?"

The reply came swiftly:

"Just found them. I was about to contact you."

Seeing this, Evan decided to go in person.

With his mind made up, he walked out of the breeding house.

Turning to the newly evolved Gardevoir, he called out, "Gardevoir, watch over the breeding house for me."

Then he looked over to Pidgeot.

"Let's head to the market, Pidgeot."

Evan paused Gardevoir's training for the moment.

Upon hearing his command, Pidgeot eagerly stepped forward.

It had been longing for a chance to stretch its wings and get out for a while.

If not now, then when? it seemed to think as it flapped its wings, ready to go.
