Chapter 126 - 88. New Contract(Part 2)

Natalie handed the contract to the other person.

"This is a foster care contract," she said.

All the regulations were clearly written, with various options that needed to be selected by the client. Natalie glanced at the contract and, without hesitation, began writing down her requirements.

At this time, another girl turned to Evan and said, "Can you give me a contract? I have needs too."

Evan nodded at her request and quickly handed over a new contract. She also filled it out promptly.

After waiting a moment, Evan checked the contracts and reviewed their needs. Both requested intermediate energy cubes for their foster Pokémon—Chikorita and Eevee for Natalie, while the other girl had a Machamp and Medicham. The contracts specified grass-type, psychic-type, and fighting-type energy cubes.

Evan nodded in agreement. "No problem," he said. Signing his name, he stamped the contracts and printed duplicate copies, handing one to each client.

"This is for you. Just leave the Pokémon in the backyard," Evan instructed. "Take out their Poké Balls so I can assign numbers to them. When needed, I'll retrieve the Pokémon and deliver them back to you."

Both girls nodded. Natalie looked at Evan with curiosity and asked, "Can we see the backyard of the breeding house?"

Evan agreed. "Sure. Just head over there while I prepare the tags."

The two girls quickly walked toward the backyard, eager to see what lay ahead. As they entered, they saw Evan's Pokémon training. Among the Pokémon were dazzling Shiny Pokémon, including a Shiny Gardevoir and a Shiny Lurantis, leaving the girls awestruck.

"This is amazing!" Natalie said, her voice full of admiration.

Iris noticed a Machamp in the yard, her eyes lighting up as she quickly released her own Machamp and Medicham.

"Gua~~!" the Machamp cried, its attention immediately drawn to Evan's Machamp, who was doing push-ups nearby. Its eyes glimmered with interest—it was clear this was a female Machamp.

"You're interested in Evan's Machamp, aren't you?" Natalie teased with a laugh.

She released her Chikorita and Eevee, explaining to them the temporary arrangements. The Pokémon observed their surroundings and gave calm nods.

Nearby, Evan's Gallade noticed the guests and stepped forward, communicating with the two girls and their Pokémon. Gallade helped explain the care routine and how things were handled at the breeding house.

"Thank you, Gallade. I'll count on you to take care of them," Natalie said, smiling at the handsome Pokémon.

The girls admired Gallade's elegant and human-like appearance, wishing for Pokémon as captivating as Gallade or Gardevoir for themselves.

Evan returned at that moment. "Hand me the Poké Balls. I'll assign the numbers now," he said.

After hearing Evan's instructions, the two nodded. They quickly took out their Poké Balls and handed them to him.

Evan attached adorable labels to the Poké Balls with care. Once done, he added, "Wait a moment and make sure to save my phone number."

"If you ever need anything, just call me. If I'm around, I can help deliver your Poké Ball. If no one answers, call my personal number," Evan explained clearly.

The girls listened attentively and nodded in understanding.

One of them suggested, "How about this, boss? Create a group chat for your customers. I've seen other people do that."

After thinking about it briefly, Evan agreed. "Good idea. Let's do it. I'll add you as friends and create the group chat now."

Evan took out his phone, guiding them to add him as a friend. Once the connections were made, he created the group and added them, along with Sophia and a few others who had joined earlier.

To introduce the group, Evan sent out a small red envelope notification. However, apart from the two girls, no one seemed to notice it—likely because they weren't checking their phones at the time.

The moment the two girls noticed a particular profile picture in the group, their eyes widened.

"Wait… Is that… Eli of The Elite Four?" Natalie exclaimed, astonished.

"Wow!" the other girl chimed in. "Boss, is Eli also your customer?"

Evan nodded casually, but the surprise on their faces was evident.

Natalie couldn't believe it. "Eli, here?" she muttered in disbelief as she stared at his name and profile picture.

True to his style, Eli had used his ID photo and set his nickname simply as "Eli." Adding to his signature charm, his profile bio read, "China Dragon Elite. Officially-certified." His friend updates were filled with selfies of himself and his Pokémon, radiating confidence and, perhaps, a touch of narcissism.

Evan noticed the girls' reactions and couldn't help but remind them, "Try not to bother him too much. He's busy sometimes, and you don't want to get on his bad side."

The two nodded quickly, taking the advice seriously. They refrained from sending friend requests to Eli, likely unsure if he would even accept them.

Evan silently mused that Eli probably wouldn't pay attention anyway. The Elite seemed uninterested in anything unrelated to Pokémon battles—his friend updates made it clear. There were no hints of scandals or personal drama.

Evan couldn't help but think, Eli… he's a serious and dedicated trainer.

But as his thoughts wandered, he considered something new. If Violet also became an Elite one day, it might be worth creating a private Elite-only chat group.

Hmm… That might just work, Evan thought with a small smile.
