"You good there, Little Lamb?" asked Tank softly as he took my hand and led me through the crowds around us.
"Just thinking," I replied, my head no longer in the Carnival.
"About planets and aliens?" he chuckled, rubbing the top of my head and messing up my ponytail. "You don't need to worry about them."
"I don't?" I asked, cocking my head to the side. "You know the future now?"
"Hardly," Tank snickered. "But something tells me that if they have been around for a long time and we haven't heard anything about them until now, they aren't interested in us."
"I suppose," I sighed. I still think it would be fun to meet an alien or two, but I wasn't about to leave my territory and go into theirs. Now, that just seemed like a bad idea. Anal probing really wasn't my thing.
"Besides, you have enough humans and zombies to deal with here," continued Tank as the rest of the guys ran to catch up.
