A few moments later and Captain Hunter had received a notification that Ivan, Cordelia and Faith were now safely back at the compound and waiting in the medical wing.
"It's ok, you two go. I'll stay here and watch the dot." Ezra inclined his head towards the screen and leant back in his chair casually.
Love nodded and turned towards the door, but Captain Hunter froze halfway and turned back to Ezra with a complicated expression.
"Err, thank you, General Acheron. For...well, you know." He mumbled awkwardly.
Ezra blinked at him before shuddering lightly, "Stop being nice, you're creeping me out. I still hate you. But...you're welcome."
Captain Hunter grinned at him and nodded his head before turning away and following Love out of the door as they headed towards the med bay.
