After the roll call, Alice was able to confirm that Nicholas really didn't come to school.
While the rest of the class was heading out to the field, she went after Miss Stella and asked,
"Do you know why Nicholas didn't come to school today?"
Miss Stella looked around as if searching for something and then turned to Alice.
"Is Nicholas your friend?" She asked and Alice nodded. "Hm, why haven't I seen you two together then? I often see him alone, and it worries me."
"Well, we only became friends last week. He drew me in with his talent." She said over a smile that convinced Miss Stella right away.
Nicholas was indeed talented, she knew that too. And his abilities were also quite unique and seemingly powerful. If nurtured well, he could be a one-man army.
