They got to school, and thanks to the brainwashing skills of one of her classmates, the students didn't have their curious eyes on her.
It was as if what had happened the previous day had never happened.
Alice happily ate her jerky as she made her way to her class, went to the back seat, and sat down.
"Ah, I'm in such a good mood." She exclaimed.
"Why? Did something good happen?" Damian, who was already seated, asked with a smile, but when Alice looked at him, she almost fell backward in her chair.
"Yeah, but... Why do you have such dark eye bags?" She asked and he smiled.

"Did you not get any sleep?" She asked him, adjusting her seat but he laughed nervously while scratching the back of his head.
"Well, I did stay up late. I was just going to stay up a few hours but I... I ended up overdoing it and stayed up to 5."
