Chapter 2 - Chapter 1: The field.

In an abandoned place far from civilization lived an isolated family known as the Killer Man, or Satsujin Otoko. Their reputation, forged by generations of fearsome warriors, preceded them.

A woman's voice echoed through the desolate area:

— Sakolomé!

The urgency in her tone shattered the silence. A breathless woman strode forward, scanning her surroundings.

— Sakolomé, are you here? I've been looking everywhere for you!

This was Amu Stella, now Amu Satsujin Otoko after her marriage. Once a princess of the legendary dragon warriors, she had witnessed her people's annihilation years earlier. Despite her tragic past, Amu remained strikingly beautiful. Sakolomé often wondered how such a remarkable woman had fallen for his father, Niyus Satsujin Otoko, their clan's leader.

But let's focus on Sakolomé. At that very moment, he was hiding… inside a barrel.

(Damn… How did she find me here?) he thought silently.

Amu eventually spotted him and approached the barrel with a suspicious glare.

— Sakolomé! What are you doing in that barrel? she demanded sharply.

The boy poked his head out and replied awkwardly:

— I have no idea, Mother…

A response as odd as it was foolish. Amu furrowed her brows.

— Are you mocking me?! she snapped, her anger simmering.

Without waiting for an answer, she grabbed his ears and yanked hard.

— Ow! Mother, that hurts! Sakolomé protested, wincing.

She hauled him out of the barrel with a firm grip before releasing his ears. The boy straightened up, rubbing his sore ear to soothe the pain.

Amu crossed her arms and continued calmly:

— Listen carefully. I need you to clear the land I told you about last time.

Sakolomé nodded eagerly.

— No problem, Mother. I'll head there right now! he replied, turning to leave.

But before he could take another step, Amu called out:

— Wait!

He froze and turned back, puzzled. His mother handed him a basket covered with a spotless white cloth.

— Take this, she said with a soft smile.

Sakolomé accepted the basket curiously and asked:

— What's inside?

Amu gave a mysterious smile before answering:

— Everything you'll need during your break. I've packed plenty of surprises!

Sakolomé's eyes sparkled with excitement. A trickle of drool escaped the corner of his mouth as he reached to lift the cloth. But before he could…

BAM!

A sharp blow to the head sent tears streaming down his face.

— Mother! Why did you hit me?! he whimpered, clutching his throbbing skull.

The basket fell to the ground, its contents still hidden under the protective cloth. Amu calmly picked it up and stroked her son's head to ease his pain.

— Sorry, my son… I just wanted to stop you from opening it now. You can only eat when you're truly hungry. Understood?

Sakolomé sniffled, tears still in his eyes, but nodded in agreement.

— Yes… I understand, Mother.

Amu gently handed him the basket again. Before he left, she leaned in to whisper something in his ear. Then she straightened up and gave him one last warm smile:

— Good luck!

Sakolomé nodded resolutely and immediately took flight, releasing a faint energy around him. Amu stood still, watching her son soar gracefully into the sky like a bird.

In flight, Sakolomé pondered his mission while flying against the wind.

(I think I'm almost there…) he thought before introducing himself mentally:

My name is Sakolomé Satsujin Otoko. I'm the second son of Niyus Killer Man.

He briefly recalled his family: Bakuzan, his 15-year-old elder brother; Bakuran, his 8-year-old younger brother; and Salomé, his 6-year-old little sister—their father's obvious favorite despite his denials.

When he finally arrived, he landed softly and placed the basket under an apple tree. He removed his shirt and tied it around his head, surveying the wild jungle before him.

— Alright… I'll turn this jungle into farmland! he declared confidently.

A mischievous grin spread across his face as he added:

— And I'll improve my combat skills while I'm at it!

Without wasting a second, he got to work. His powerful strikes sent shockwaves that uprooted plants within ten meters. Trees toppled like dominoes under his superhuman strength.

In just 26 minutes, he had cleared an area equivalent to three football fields. Winded but unsatisfied, he collapsed to his knees:

— This is too weak… My big brother would've cleared everything instantly!

He tried to stand but clumsily fell onto his back. Lying under the sky, he watched the clouds while catching his breath. After a silent moment of introspection, he checked the time mentally:

(It's 3:07 PM… I'll probably finish by 1 PM tomorrow.)

Gathering his strength, he stood up determinedly and assumed a combat stance:

— Time to test my new technique: Killer Punch!

He closed his eyes, channeling a reddish energy around his right arm. With a precise 160-degree rotational motion, he struck the air and shouted:

— Killer Punch!

The shockwave uprooted plants 55 meters ahead and toppled nearby trees. But suddenly…

CRACK!

A searing pain shot through his right arm. A violent cramp forced him to stop.

— Oh… damn! he swore between gasps before collapsing.

Completely drained, he fell into a deep sleep under the fading sunlight…

An hour and a half later, Sakolomé slowly opened his eyes. He yawned deeply, stretched, and sat up. His stomach growled loudly.

— Ugh… I need to eat something! he muttered, struggling to his feet.

He walked to the apple tree where he'd left his basket earlier… but what he saw left him stunned:

— No way!!!
