The arrow hit the nectar and destroyed it which then ultimately resulted in the death of Ravan and after being hit Ravan gave out a loud shout and fall from his chariot from the sky onto the ground.
Seeing the fall of their King all of the rakshashs became very shocked and started to drop their weapons on the ground.
All of the severed heads of Ravan were also loitering on the ground which also sent a new wave of shock and feeling of defeated in the mind and hearts of the rakshashs.
The mighty and all powerful Ravan who had terrorized the entire universe and whose one shout can shake the entire universe is taking his final breathes.
Ravan fall on the shores of Lanka where he saw Shri Ram standing at a fewer distance from him.

The entire shore of Lanka got filled with triumphant hailing and chanting of Shri Ram for slaying the ultimate evil of Tretayug and establishing the truth and justice in the entire universe.
Shri Ram approached closer to Ravan and when Ravan saw Shri Ram coming towards him at that moment Ravan the gigantic silhouette of Lord Narayan forming behind Shri Ram.
Seeing this silhouette, Ravan got teary eyed and folded his hands before Shri Ram because in his last few breathes of life Ravan realized the sins he has committed in all of his lives.
Once Shri Ram reached closer, Ravan asked for the forgiveness for his sins and Shri Ram being the epitome of forgiving and goodness readily forgave Ravan.
And soon Vibhishana also came to the side of his dying elder brother. Emotions of loosing the brother and father figure hit Vibhishana very hard as he became very emotional.
But in his last breathes Ravan advised Vibhishana to take care of Lanka and it's people as it's new crowned King.
After the brothers had their heart to heart conversation, Shri Ram sent his younger brother Laxman to Ravan to learn about politics and kingdom management.
After a few moments Mandodari the chief wife of Ravan came to see him for the last time and in his last time Ravan told his wife to help Vibhishana in managing Lanka.
And after a few moments of that Ravan took his last breathe and died.
Vibhishana and Mandodari cried their hearts out after the death of Ravan and Shri Ram, Laxman and the vanarasena joined them in their mourning of Ravan.
After an hour or two the last rites of Ravan began at the sea shore of Lanka and at that same time Vibhishana got crowned as the King of Lanka with Mandodari married him to settle down the civil war situation of Lanka.
And at that time Ravan's body was set ablaze as his final rites and at that time the soldiers of Lanka began to put the the beheaded heads of Ravan in the pyre.
But while all of these things were happening all together and a black color light came out of the pyre and entered inside the last remaining head of Ravan.
Once the black color light got completely merged with the head, the eyes of that head got opened and the expression of anger and rage aroused on the face of that head.
Soon the head disappeared from that place and went into a deep cave away from Lanka and near Mountain Kailash.
After arriving in that cave, the head started to shout very loudly for a few moments but after that the head calmed down itself.
And then that head began to gather snow which was inside the cave by rolling on the ground and after hours of hardwork the head created a Shiv Linga from the snow it has gathered.
And once it was done the head began to recite the Shiv Tandav Stotra in loud and enchanting voice that is filled with pure devotion.
After a few years of recital, his voice reached at the divine mount itself and all of the residents of Kailash heard his voice.
God Shiv who is God for Ravan heard his voice while still being in his meditation and this brought him out of his meditation.
As God Shiv opened his eyes he saw Devi Parvati and his son Ganesh with Nandi and his ganas standing before him.
And soon they asked him about this voice that is resounding in the Kailash mountain with pure devotion.
After hearing their questions which are all same, God Shiv took a small pause and said, "This voice is of Ravan."
This revelation by God Shiv shocked all of the people including Devi Parvati and Ganesh and soon they all said that Ravan has been slain in Tretayug, so how come he is still alive.
To answer this God Shiv told them, "This voice is of not the complete Ravan but rather it is the voice of one of his heads. It is the voice of his head that represents Kama(lust)."
Hearing this Devi Parvati became very shocked as she couldn't understand how Ravan's head is alive when his complete form has been destroyed completely.
To answer this question of his wife, God Shiv said, "Devi, when Ravan's body was burning in the pyre, a very small fragment of his soul escaped his complete soul and entered inside the last remaining head of Ravan which is reciting the Shiv Tandav Stotra currently."
Devi Parvati: "Mahadev what should we do now ?"
Mahadev: "We can't do much Devi. It is Niyati which has created this situation. So now Niyati will decide the path which we all and this world will take."
After saying these words God Shiv went back into his meditation and on other hand the severed head of Ravan after realizing that God Shiv is not coming to him cut his tongue and lips and began to pour his blood on Shiva Linga and said, "Mahadev I am your biggest devotee and I will now perform the Avishek of your Linga with my blood. I will perform your Rakta Avishek."
Floating in the air the severed head started the Rakta Avishek while reciting the Shiv Tandav Stotra.
