"There's no way she would give a gift better than Young Lady Mo. She should just go sit down instead of embarrassing herself."
Meanwhile, Rowen just stared at Vanessa, unaware of what she was going to do, but in all their years of being married, this was the first time he trusted her with peace of mind.
Taken aback by the young woman's sudden appearance, Richard Quinn questioned, "And who might you be, young lady?"
Bowing slightly, Vanessa responded, "I am Vanessa Owen... Young Master Rowen's wife."
She said as she stole a glance at Rowen, whose eyes were fixated only on her and no one else.
"Hmm," Richard touched his beard. He had heard so many rumors about Rowen's wife, and they were not good. He wondered what she was going to do.
