Finally, Vanessa was able to escape from the crowd of people that surrounded her.
Sigh!
Just then, Fiona appeared before her. "You did well, Vanessa," she smiled.
"Well, the only reason I danced so well was because you played so well. All the compliments and praises should go to you, Miss Parker."
"Hmm... I still wonder why you asked for my help. Last I remember, you and I had no relation back in high school."
Folding her hands, Vanessa replied, "True, but I know that you were the one who deserved to have won the competition, and Eunice was wrong to cheat. See this as my way of giving you back what was rightfully yours."
"In that case, I guess I'll have no other choice but to help you get what's rightfully yours as well."
And with that, Fiona smiled as she turned and left, leaving Vanessa alone.
Walking towards Vanessa, Eunice had a wide smile on... it was so obvious that it was fake.
"Cousin, how is your evening?" she asked as she took hold of Vanessa's hands.
