Rose gulped as Danmond led her toward Cassius; she could feel every eye on her; they all hated her, and they were going to hate her more for approaching their master.
"Brother, here she is," Dabmond released Rose's hand and stepped back, putting a good distance between them.
Cassius turned his face to Rose, his eyes doing a quick scan over her; he noticed how Rose had her face lowered as if she didn't want to see his face.
"Even in the face of my subjects, you refuse to bow to your master?" Cassius asked in an even tone.
Rose bit her lips, "Good evening, Master," She greeted with her head bowed.
She didn't want drama, whatever that would cause it, she would avoid it.
Cassius noticed the way her hair fell over her shoulder, exposing her back.
"You may raise your head," He ordered.
Rose obeyed but still didn't look at him; she was trying to limit all kinds of contact as much as possible.
