While the students were trying to save Bakugo from All For One's clutches inside the city and the heroes were trying to infiltrate into the League of Villains hideout, Inazuma was running towards a boat heading to I-Island.
From Garaki's records inside his computer, he figured out that the alliance formed by All For One and Chisaki had known about the incident involving Wolfram where Inazuma had disappeared along with the bomb that was supposed to destroy the Island. They had simply been waiting to see if he would return and whether he was hiding, planning to strike using the element of surprise. They had moved in with their plan to kidnap Bakugo so as to be certain he was not coming back.
This gave Chisaki the confidence to move on to the next part of his plan:
Capturing Eri for completing the plan of taking over the world. If he gets hold of Eri, he will get enough materials so as to complete the research to create permanent quirk nullifiers as well as its antidote.
With I-Island still under immense stress from the destruction that occurred a month ago, they would have succeeded—if not for the man currently running toward them.
On the Ship
Chisaki sat on a throne on the deck while the others scurried around, ensuring everything was in order. After his defeat at the hands of Inazuma years ago, Chisaki had been hospitalized for six months until he recovered enough to heal himself completely. But that time in the hospital, where he had to depend on others for everything, had completely changed him. Even his subordinates knew it.
Chisaki had always been ruthless, but he had at least ensured that those who followed his orders correctly were safe. Now, even the slightest irritation resulted in his subordinates being splattered against the wall with no chance of survival. He had also begun experimenting on himself, fusing his body with others, sometimes with the quirks that others had and sometimes with technology. Now, he resembled a grotesque chimera with multiple arms, each carrying a different weapon.
One held a gun. Another wielded a cluster of machetes. Another held a chain, scythe and many more.
But the most terrifying part was his skin. He had fused several alloys into both his bones and flesh, making it nearly impossible for anything to penetrate his body or wound him.
"How long until we reach the island?" Chisaki asked without moving an inch.
"Jus… just an hour, sir," one of the unfortunate workers near him answered, fear etched into his expression.
"Mmhm," Chisaki muttered.
CHUCK!!
A tentacle made of iron shot out from his shoulder, impaling the man who had answered. He didn't even have time to scream before his body was splattered across the opposite wall. Showing that now Chisaki is not limited by his hands if he wants to activate his quirk.
"Half an hour," Chisaki said coldly. "After that, I'll start killing you one by one."
The other crew members scrambled, desperate to reach the island in time, knowing his threat was no bluff. They increased the speed as much as possible even while knowing that the chances of the boat becoming uncontrollable is very high.
'This time, you'll be mine, Eri. I won't make the same mistake as last time. I'll transform you so that unless you're with me, you won't survive,' Chisaki thought darkly.
This was not the Chisaki of the canon timeline. This was something darker, born from the pain of losing almost everything in an instant.
'Blood Lightning, you're not here to stop me anymore,' he mused with a smile that lasted only for a few seconds.
"Guess I'm not late."
A sudden voice from behind made Chisaki turn, only to see one of his worst nightmares standing there.
Inazuma stood in his full suit, while the rest of the crew lay unconscious on the ground.
'How is this possible? I didn't even sense him coming. And the speed at which he took out my crew… has it increased? If so, by how much? Our plans and countermeasures will fail at this rate.'
Chisaki processed all of this in mere seconds before making a decision.
'No matter.'
He raised his hands, and his body began to change. Metal scales formed over his skin, reinforcing his already formidable durability. Wheels emerged near his ankles, lifting him slightly—an indication that he could now move faster. More limbs sprouted from his shoulders, arms, and various other parts of his body, giving him the appearance of an eldritch abomination. His eyes were now covered by hardened glass, and a hazmat mask concealed the lower half of his face.
"Blood Lightning, after what you did to me all those years ago, I've been preparing for this moment." He aimed several long-range weapons at Inazuma.
"Even if I can't match your speed, my body's toughness will ensure that none of your attacks can harm me." Chisaki's raspy voice carried a hint of excitement. "What are you going to do now?"
Inazuma looked at what Chisaki had become and shook his head.
"Haah," he sighed in disappointment. "Man, some of the readers were probably expecting a good fight… but what can I do when my opponent is a complete dumbass?"
Chisaki's frustration grew at not being taken seriously.
"What are you talking abo—"
Before he could finish, a searing pain shot through his entire body. His muscles locked up. He tried to move but found himself completely paralyzed.
And then, everything went black.
As he collapsed, unconscious, Inazuma stood behind him.
"How the hell can someone be so idiotic that they come to fight a guy who produces electricity with a body filled with conductive materials—all the way to the spine?" Inazuma muttered, vibrating the blades he held.
He prepared to sever Chisaki's head and dismantle his body and finish the job—knowing that unless he completely dismantled him, Chisaki would just keep coming back. Plus, he has no idea whether the new enhancements will make his healing factor high, so it was best to destroy it completely.
