Inside a room, Ethan sat cross-legged, conversing with the system.
"System, how many cores did we get this time?"
"We have enough for you to upgrade your grade or awaken for the third time, maybe even a fourth," Ethan smiled upon hearing this.
Three months in the forest hadn't been in vain. After enduring numerous battles and sleepless nights, the rewards were substantial.
"What do you think I should do? I was thinking about upgrading my grade. I'm still stuck at level D right now. If I want to level up further, I need a better grade."
The system agreed with Ethan's decision and nodded.
"Alright then, let's upgrade your grade first."
Suddenly, 40% of the cores in his inventory disappeared. After a while, a warm energy could be felt coursing through his body. After it ran through him for 10 minutes, the energy finally came to a stop. But Ethan didn't stop there. He started the process again and experienced another surge of warmth.
