Chapter 214 - Chapter 214 - Escaping the Barewell Mountains

Third person POV

"Hello there, my sweet love," Frannie said to him with a lively, creepy tone.

She then went in, shut the door close, locked it with a key, and went to Russell.

"W-What do you want from me, Frannie-san?" Russell responded back frighteningly.

 "Nothing, just you for myself…Hehe…"

Frannie then grabbed a wooden stool and stepped on it to reach Russell's height.

Russell was afraid of her now, and his mind yelled out, "Flippin' red flag!"

Frannie became a yandere to him now, and then, Frannie licked Russell's left cheek and said to him in a low voice, "You had amazed me, May-san. You're mine now, forever and ever."

She then licked Russell's left ear, causing Russell to panic and sway.

But Russell couldn't do anything to escape or get out, for he was chained to that stone, cold wall in chains and shackles.

"Sakloko (Help)!" his mind yelled in despair. "Tulong! (Help!)"

And then, Aren appeared in the cell using his Crows ability, yelling at Frannie, "Enough of this, Frannie!" Russell and Frannie heard that and looked at him.

 "Aren-san!"

"Aren-san, what are you doing here?!"

Approaching them with seriousness, Aren said to Frannie directly, "Let go of him. What you're doing is unacceptable."

Frannie was pissed off. "No! Don't you dare ruin our eternal love together!"

"No, let go of him, now!" Aren shouted back. "Do you have any idea what you're doing would affect your reputation and public image?"

Frannie, in response to this, summoned a dozen swords using her ability, Sword Summon, to threaten Aren. "Come any closer, and I'll tear into pieces!"

Russell was instantly terrified by this. "Yandere!" his mind yelled in despair. But Aren wasn't afraid and remained standing on his ground, insisting the yandere princess of Barewell let Russell go. Then, as Frannie kept on threatening Aren, Russell secretly used his Metal Manipulation ability to quietly and cautiously break the locks on the shackles that bound him. He did so and was released from the wall, before using one of the broken shackles to knock Frannie unconscious. And then, as Frannie was still distracted, Russell did so with a strong blow to the back of her head. This knocked her unconscious, causing all of her summoned swords to fall to the ground and dissipate into thin air. Aren was surprised and looked at Russell positively, giving him a quick thumbs-up. "Good job, May-san."

Massaging his wrists, Russell replied back, "Yeah, thanks."

After that, Russell used his Metal Manipulation to pry open the door lock. After that was successful, he said to Aren, "Let's get out of here." Aren then nodded. "Yes, I am here to rescue you, of course." And so, both men got out of the cell and are now running towards the corridors of the palace dungeons. Along the way, Aren grabbed Russell's right hand and used his Crows ability to teleport himself and Russell out of the dark, dank place.

As a result, both of them are outside of the Chamber Fortress and out of the sight of the patrolling guards. Russell was stunned that they managed to get out fast. "Woah…" Aren then looked around, then at him seriously. "Yes, my ability can do that. Anyways, where's your bus?"

Both of them then looked around for it.

But neither could see it at all. Thinking about that, Russell pulled out his bus's key and pressed its ignition button, producing a car-like sound on his bus. The direction of it was just on the right and west from their location. Aren was stunned to see that object of technology. "Wow, that little thing can do that?" Russell then looked at him back. "Yes, this one has a button for the ignition of a vehicle, like cars, for example."

He then pressed the same button again a few times to see where it was hidden.

And then, they went in that direction, where two guards were guarding the bus. So, Russell and Aren wielded their weapons and beat up the two guards without hurting or inflicting them too much pain or injury, before breaking into the dungeon. There the pair saw the bus being guarded by magic, so Aren used his Secondary magic, which was Nullification, to disable and nullify the guarding magic. Russell was astonished to see that, remembering the ability Prince Nicholas Passato of the Southern Plains had before. And so, the magic broke, and the bus was freed. Russell was happy for that and opened his bus's door with his ignition key, before both of them went in, where Kazi was eating some of the food onboard.

"May-sensei!" Kazi said to his driving instructor before standing up and hugging him for a bit.

"Kazi-kun, are you okay here?" Russell said to him back.

Kazi then discharged from hugging and looked at him. "Yeah, luckily there's food, water, and ventilation."

"That's quite lucky of you, my subject," replied Aren back brightly, before looking at the windshield seriously. "But, let's get out of here before Frannie or anyone would see us."

Adjusting his bus driver's cap, Russell replied back, "Leave it to me, everyone."

He then sat on his driver's seat, turned on the bus's engine with his ignition key, and closed the door, before shifting the gear to Drive and escaping the dungeon prison by breaking through and driving up to the surface.

Not long after, the trio got out of the Chamber Fortress and was now towards the capital's downtown as the guards were alerted of their escape and tried to catch them on horseback. The escape would be grand but not that grand.
