"Excuse me," she said, and tried to walk past him.
Ace blocked her, and dragged her back to the position she was before.
"Really? Excuse you? Is this how we're going to end this conversation?"
"You didn't even want to talk to me before," she snickered. "Don't pretend now that any of this makes any difference to you. Besides, there's something important I have to do."
"Fair," he bobbed his head. "Do I need to wait for you?"
"Do whatever you please, Ace. This garden is taking me down memory lane, and I doubt it's something we both want to remember."
"No," he shook his head. "That's where you're wrong. I may have had unpleasant intentions bringing you here, but everything that happened in this garden meant more to me than you could ever understand. It produced Dream too, and she's by far the best thing to ever happen to us. I'm sorry for how I hurt you, and I'll apologize a million times if I have to. All I want to know is what the future holds for us."
