It was a new day, and Cyrus was heading out of the inn with a tired expression. He was up late last night due to having his gambling addiction fighting in his head.
"I really.. Want to spin Light magic away.. But it's too good.."
He said in a devastated tone, the chances were low but to him, a 0.1% looked like a 99% in his eyes, that's how much he wants to change his element of magic.
He stopped in front of the inn just at the side, adjusting his school uniform and his tie, along with straightening his long pants, then a thought came after he saw a female student wearing the same top, but they had a long skirt on.
"I'm guessing a human from my world implemented the idea of students having skirts here in another world. Or that's been a thing already."
He shrugged, beginning to walk away from the inn and to the town center where he and the others would meet up, since they mostly wanted to head to school together.
After a couple of minutes he had arrived, many roads were connecting towards this area, four roads and each were from north, east, south and west.
As he went to the water fountain in the middle, he'd see Mary already waiting for them. He walked towards her and greeted with a smile.
"Good morning, you're the one early now, did something good happen?"
Mary smiled back with a chuckle, shaking her head.
"Not particularly, mother asked me why I was out and I told her I'm with friends. She seemed happy and proud of me being able to handle myself."
She said with a snicker, Cyrus nodded before standing right beside her.
"So.. Favorite kid I'm assuming?"
"Favorite youngest kid. I'm the third child of the Bless Family so I need to be as perfect as possible!"
"Right.. Ain't that going to lead you with just more pressure? Expectations and all."
"Hah? Expectations are nothing! It only boosts my motivation to be better than most."
"So you're a prideful one.."
Cyrus muttered under his breath, hiding his sentence with a cough after. Mary couldn't hear what he said thankfully because of the waters behind them from the fountain.
Their conversation came to a halt when Yun arrived, his smile radiating and brightful as ever, enough to make some people around them look at him.
"Sorry I was late! I was busy helping my father with some needs."
"I'm surprised a guy at your age still has a good relationship with your father."
Cyrus commented, with Mary punching his arm, he looked confused why she did that but he didn't bother trying to know why.
Yun just chuckled, scratching his hair with his head down slightly.
"I mean.. I love my dad so I have to do everything to support him after all!"
"Right.. Love."
"Come on Cyrus, he clearly cares about his father a lot, just appreciate it!"
Mary added with a sigh, Cyrus just knew it wasn't love but rather something else. As Yun would stand beside Mary before asking.
"He's the one late again."
"Not surprising at all. I should have gone to his house and picked him up instead."
"What are you, his girlfriend?" Cyrus teased with a smirk.
"I- Is it wrong for a friend to pick up another friend?! Stop kidding around Cyrus!"
Mary exclaimed rather embarrassed, her face flushed with her cheeks a bit red.
This led to Cyrus and Yun looking at each other with a grin on their faces, their expression having the look of ' we know '.
But after that happened, Tool arrived with a sleepy and exhausted face, his uniform all messed up as if he just didn't bother fixing it up.
Tool looked at the three while rubbing his eyes.
"Oh.. Hey guys, sorry I'm late."
Tool yawned after his sentence, seemingly tired still. Mary noticed his uniform being all messed up, so she went ahead and stood in front of him, adjusting his attire correctly along with straightening his messed up tie.
"You really need to take care of yourself more."
"I'm sorry.. I was busy last night since I forgot I was handling stuff from the academy."
Cyrus and Yun just stood next to each other, looking at Tool and Mary with a grin on their faces. Before Cyrus would ask.
"How much do you wanna bet they'd make a great couple?"
"I mean.."
Yun paused, despite not being able to see, he can still feel their magic energy in front of him, which leads him to being able to know what they look like, by tracing the patterns of the magic energy around their body, making him able to know what their face is like.
"A beautiful girl like her and a strong guy like him kinda fits? I'm not sure Tool has any experience with dating.."
"Obviously, I doubt he's ever had any feelings of romance or love to say the least. Family love isn't included."
"True.. But I'm betting that Mary will confess before Tool even notices that she likes him!"
"Then I bet that Tool will confront her about liking him."
"Alright then."
Both Cyrus and Yun shook hands, completing a useless bet that's about a lovelife.
Tool and Mary walked to them, with Mary putting a hand on her hip and tilting her head in confusion.
"What were you guys talking about?"
Thankfully because of the water fountain, only the two of them managed to hear each other. Cyrus would let go of Yun's hand and just smiled mischievously.
"How I should study my light magic more."
"That's why we're studying in the academy, now let's go, I think the bell's going to ring any time."
"I really don't want to go.."
Tool said in a disappointed tone. He was tired and sleepy but not enough for Mary to just let him go.
The four of them would fix themselves up before walking to the path towards the academy, with Mary holding onto Tool's arm and dragging him alongside her by force.

They arrived in their classroom with no problems or anything troubling them. As they sat down on their respective seats.
Yun being at the left edge, Cyrus next to him, then Tool, then Mary at the right edge.
Good thing they had a long seat and a long table rather than the usual chair and short table. Cyrus remembered that college students on earth had these types of classrooms, even though he flunked.
"What do you think the lesson is going to be?"
Yun asked, tilting his head to look at the three of them. Although Tool was currently laying his face on the table, obviously tired still. But he answered.
"I think it's about.. Monsters from The Forbidden.. I forgot but I read about it."
Tool shrugged while staying his head down on the table, not having the energy to even bring it up and help himself.
Cyrus was curious since he had never seen any monster from The Forbidden, nor heard about them at all. To learn new things is something he also enjoys other than gambling.
The teacher Ms. Ash would arrive and close the door before speaking in a serious tone.
"Quiet down brats!"
She said, her voice high pitched just so she could get their attention, all of the students stayed sitting down on their respective seats, she stared and nodded.
"Good. Now our topic today is about monsters in The Forbidden. Most notably, succubuses."
She said, setting her books on her desks with a sigh, then instantly glaring at everyone in the classroom. They were all surprised about the topic because of the creature they're going to talk about.
Cyrus was confused, he would look over at Mary before asking.
"What's a succubus?"
Mary herself was even more confused about the fact that he didn't know, having an expression of both confusion and shock while looking at him, then composing herself before answering.
"Succubuses, they're monsters that are mostly populated by women. They drain both magic and life energy from males by doing.. You know."
"Doing what?"
"How could you not know?!"
"I don't know! I've never heard of it from my place!"
"You there!"
Ash exclaimed, pointing at Cyrus, he instantly shuddered when he was called, he turned to look at her while laughing nervously.
"Yes ma'am?.."
"What could you tell me about succubuses?"
"That they uh.. Drain life and magic energy from people?"
"And how?"
"Through.. Violence?"
Ash clicked her tongue in a disappointed way, shaking her head as she sighed.
"Wrong. Through lust and desire."
"Lust and.. Oh. Now I understand."
Ash would clear her throat, walking and pacing left and right in the classroom while talking.
"Putting that aside, apart from dangerous monsters that could kill you, succubuses are no joke. One succubus is enough to wipe an entire village if they don't have anyone strong. Now think about multiple of them.. Can you men handle it?"
Ash glanced at every guy in the classroom, most of them just quiet until one of them would raise their hand up at the far right back. She looks at the student before asking them. Making every other student, except Tool, look at them.
"What is it?"
The student who had a seemingly unusual hair color, it was plainly blood red and nothing else, his face looking almost like a woman's too.
"Other than us men, what about you guys? Succubuses are dangerous, sure. But you forgot about Incubuses teacher."
"That's.."
Ash had completely forgotten about the male part of the energy sucking family, to think she could forget made it hurt her knowledgeable mind, she just sighed.
"Fair enough, you may sit down."
The student sat down with a nod. Ash would return in front of the front of the classroom, standing behind her desk with a sigh. The students looked at her, paying attention to what she had to say.
"Alright then, succubuses and incubuses. Although, I do have someone I would like you to meet. Come on in."
She turned to look at the door of the classroom, the door swung open, as a person steps inside.
She had a figure that any man could dream of and would chase, wide hips, huge chest, and silky long black hair, she was the perfect woman a guy could want. Wearing a tight uniform around her upper area, with a black pencil skirt on her lower area.
Her horns being sharp and long, having a darling black color, along with her tail swaying back and form, the edge of it being heart shaped.
This made the men in their classroom gasp in awe, with the exclusion of the red haired student at the back, and Cyrus as well as Tool. Yun too.
Although for the female students, they all just glared at her, except for Mary, she wasn't that sensitive about her body because she knows she's perfect.
She stood next to Ash with a radiating beautiful smile, her hand waving slightly at everyone, with Ash introducing her.
"Everyone, I'd like you to meet Serene. She's a succubus but she is more tame than others. Be nice to her."
Serene smiled brightly, before bowing her head down slightly. Then raising it back up to look at everyone.
"Greetings everyone. I'll be teaching you a bit about succubuses and incubuses."
"Thanks for doing this Serene, now I have to go grab lunch!"
Ash said before bolting out of the classroom, everyone just looked at the closed door with disappointment, not knowing how she could be a teacher in the first place.
"Now then!"
Serene claps her hands, gathering the attention of every student in the classroom. She glanced around then noticed something in the middle, she walked away from the front and towards the seating of where Cyrus, Tool, Yun and Mary were.
She stood in front of them, her breathing in an odd rhythm, as if she was seeing something she wanted.
"You there."
She says in a low tone, the three of them confused on who she's talking about, until Cyrus would ask.
"Uh.. Is it me Ms. Serene? Or.."
"Not you.."
She didn't even bother looking at him, but instead, she was looking at Tool's sleeping form, she got closer to him, making him twitch, he slowly lifts his head up, sadly waking up from his slumber. Only to see an unfamiliar face. He asks in a sleepy tone.
"Uh.. Who are you?"
"Your magic.. Your energy.. It looks beautiful, and delicious."
Serene said with an unusual tone, grabbing both his hands and clasping them together with hers, holding it near her chest before smiling brightly, her eyes now heart shaped while it looked at him.
"Please be my boyfriend!"
Tool would blink twice for a second, his face still not having any expression, but his reaction to what she said was enough.
"..huh?"
The sudden question made everyone suddenly stand up from their seats, but the one that was shocked the most was Mary, her face looked devastated and surprised. The sheer confidence to casually say that out of nowhere is such a feat, even for her.
Cyrus was just shocked, letting out a chuckle before muttering under his breath.
"Even here there's still these types of people.. It's the same as home."
