The Cursed Serpent let out a raspy laugh. "I can't wait to see that."
Cliff took a deep breath, scanning the horizon. Now, he had to hunt down an aerial predator that surpassed him in every way.
Even though Cliff was now a demon and had immense strength, breaking the sound barrier wasn't impossible for him—on the ground. But when it came to flying, he was slow. His wings felt like heavy muscles, restricting his speed, and it took an exhausting amount of effort just to stay in the air.
He wanted more of these wings himself, so the chance to gain a new pair was an opportunity he couldn't pass up. The question remained: how could he catch a supersonic creature?
