As the Cursed Serpent had suggested, they ascended higher together. Cliff wasn't yet very skilled at reaching such heights with his telekinesis, so he summoned his large bat wings, managing to stabilize himself as he flew alongside the Serpent.
It didn't take them long to reach a great height in the sky. From such a vantage point, the view could be unsettling for anyone not used to it.
The sky was clear, and their gaze swept across the horizon, taking in everything from this altitude. The Cursed Serpent extended his hand, pointing out the expanse ravaged by flames. Now that the fires had been extinguished, everything lay reduced to ashes. A large portion of his territory had been devastated, even the enemy's lands affected. Cliff remembered suggesting wind mages redirect the fire, a strategy that had worked a little too well.
