Having said that, he brushed past Gigi and marched upstairs.
Gigi stood in the distance, watching him stride away, slightly pursing her red lips.
"Where is he?"
The minister walked back, not seeing Lucas Walker and looked around in confusion.
"He left."
"He left?" Mr. Minister glanced towards the stairs. "He's actually not interested in you?"
Initially, Gigi's encounter with Lucas Walker was solely to secure the project.
But now, having met the man himself, her interest had grown beyond just the project.
This man was far too charming; she had to have him.
Gigi wrapped her arms, brought the empty glass that Lucas had drunk from to her lips, and lightly licked the rim with the tip of her tongue, "As long as he is a man, he can't possibly reject me."
"What are you thinking?" Mr. Minister asked.
Gigi's lips curled into a coy smile, "I've checked; his wife isn't at the Manor. Today, the child got scared; it just so happens that I'll visit them tomorrow."
