The Grand Duchess did not take a seat, instead, she surveyed her surroundings, observing the Living Room.
When she heard his question, she turned her face and uttered a single word.
"Tea."
"Alright, it'll be right up."
Adam Walker hung his coat back on the rack and went into the kitchen to make her tea.
After taking a look around the Living Room, the Grand Duchess placed her small handbag on the coffee table and followed him into the kitchen. Adam Walker was skillfully heating water and steeping tea; she turned her face to glance outside the door.
"I remember Ivana saying… you had a Nanny, isn't she home?"
"Oh… I let her go."
"Why?"
"It felt odd, just me and a Nanny, and... I didn't want anyone else in the house."
"Is that so?" A hint of amusement flashed in the Grand Duchess's eyes, "I originally wanted to settle in, but... never mind, then!"
